“ Mostly, he taught me about friendship and selflessness and , above all else, unwavering loyalty.”, was a quote by John Grogan. He writes about his late dog Marley and states the fact that he taught him many things about life, such as love, loyalty, and to enjoy the small things. I feel like dogs do have this on people and the way that they see life. Animals tend to have this effect on people because they show and give you unconditional love and loyalty. Their hearts are as big as oceans, so when their gone you can't help but miss
Animals show people love in so many ways. For example, my dog Skipper, that passed not to long ago, taught me so much about love. Whenever i would get home he would have this look in his eyes, it was

In the story, “Dogs make us human”, it say “The woman who owned him was a severe diabetic, and if her blood sugar levels got low during the night Max would wake up her husband and bug him until he got up and took care of her.” This woman's dog showed lots of loyalty in the way of him saving her life on numerous occasions. Her dog stood by her and wouldn't let anything happen. Skipper in a way was kind of like this. Although he didn't save anyone's life he showed so much loyalty. Whenever someone would come to the door he would bark his little head off. Ask Kristen if you don’t believe me. He would hide under one of the dining room chairs and go crazy. He would think that was a guard and a big dog but he really wasn't much of one. That job is for the big dog. Even though he couldn't do much he was always there for you when you needed him. If you were in a bad mood he could cheer you up by just being there and smiling at you. He had the most joyful smile, the most wonderful one. Like his eyes it told a story. It showed that even though things may get bad, it will always turn out alright. You just have to keep your chin up and move on with life. Don't let life's obstacles get you down but rather learn from them, move on but don’t forget them. I keep that with me even today. “An animal’s eyes have the power to speak a great language (Martin …show more content…
We stood by him when things got rough and never gave up on him. The little dog started having seizures, and not to long after that we found out that he had a brain bleed and a brain tumor. We all didn’t see any of this coming, so at first we didn’t know what to think. All we knew was that we had to try as much as we could to save his life, and if not that make him as comfortable as we possibly could. So, for weeks we tried so many different medicines, but Skipper wasn’t responding to some that he needed to. Later on we were told that his liver levels were dangerously high, we had to put him on even more medicine because of that. Although we tried all of this, he didn’t get much better. It would seem like he would for a day or two, but in time he would be just as sick as he was before or even worse. We all knew that we would have to say our finally farewell to our little friend. We all tried to prepare for it, but something like losing someone that you love you can never be ready for. One night he had at least 12 seizures and we knew that goodbye be sooner than we expected it to. Soon after that we did have to put him down. Although we didn’t want to, we knew that it was the best thing for him, we couldn’t do anymore for him and he was in so much pain. His eyes showed you that he was ready to go. We tried to be strong for him but when we got to the vet it was all too much.
Something such as, if the pet was hurt, hungry or needed something and they could express to the owner for that specific need could be very beneficial. Although, as humans are very sensitive and have a lot of harsh outcomes in life, it can also be very painful for animals to go through deaths, bad moments, and even everyday life. Hermes and Apollo are Gods who believe in such different areas. The percentage of dogs that lived a happy life compared to the ones who did not is very significant. Dogs, or any animal, should not have human intelligence.
The movie teaches us to look beyond the cover and into who someone is as a person. We also learn that sometimes contact with people makes us reconsider our judgement towards them, to find out the real person underneath.
In the movie, Marley & Me, the director depicted love in a different way. He depicted it between a man and a dog. The main character, Owen Wilson, had a strong bond with his dog. Own Wilson developed a strong love bond that was never broken. As the saying goes, a dog is a man’s best-friend. The main character got married and was able to keep his best-friend/Marley. They were all able to create wonderful and memorable memories. The love that he had for his pet, Marley, was so strong because of what they had went through and how Marley was always protecting and sticking up him when he was younger. However, the dog had to put down and his family was devastated. The last words his owners whispered to his ears were, “Look, I don't know where you're going from here, but you remember this: you’re a great dog, Marley. You are a great dog.” (106:08-106:19). The way the director depicted the last scene was so emotional. The audience and character felt the same pain an...
When humans leave their dogs most do not know what is happening. When his master falls from his enemies and it is time to rest. “If fortune drives the master forth, an outcast in the world, friendless and homeless, the faithful dog ask no higher privilege than that of accompanying him, to guard him against danger, to fight all his enemies.” (lines 26-29) the dog will always be loyal to his master. It’s fascinating because of all the emotion put into this and all the thought that his speech is amazing, he talks about things that should be obvious about

Through all the tests we found Caesar had testicular cancer, tumors in his stomach, and nerve damage in his back right leg. Finding out he had all of these things wrong with him was a wakeup call to me and my coworkers. To get rid of the cancer, we did a surgery to neuter him and remove the cancer. The tumors in his stomach didn’t come back cancerous and weren’t big enough to be a huge issue, so we decided to closely monitor them. Since we were keeping a close eye on this, Caesar had daily checkups and weekly sonograms. To reduce pain with the nerve damage Caesar has been doing physical therapy and laser therapy. These two kinds of therapy have helped Caesar be able to stand on his own, walk a little by himself, and climb in and out of his kennel.
However, when considering them the greatest animal, one must also acknowledge the profound meaning they have for people as well as the life lessons and values they instill. Due to the bond that has developed between dogs and their owners, dogs are now seen as family, not just a pet. When a dog passes away, it is a deep and emotional event for their owner. Dogs and humans have become deeply connected as dogs instill and display valuable attributes. Dogs do not discriminate, they are accepting. Dogs are fiercely loyal companions who are devoted to their owners. They are a source of comfort for many. Dogs can provide individuals with a sense of protection and are a source of joy. Dogs give their owners a sense of purpose and are an important aspect of an individual’s life. Dogs are the greatest animals because their presence promotes the wellbeing of many. As a dog owner, it is evident that dogs play an important role in the lives of

LESSONS OF THE FILM/SOCIAL RELEVANCE As the title says itself, the main lesson of this story is that life is beautiful. No matter what circumstances we are in, we can live a better life because circumstances are irrelevant; they are just external factors which are simply backdrops in our lives. We have the freedom to decide what our attitude will be towards these situations and this defines who we are and what we will become. Our imagination and hope build our world, it lighten our paths and made us a better person.
For example, it made me realize that people tend to throw their life away when things get hard. One quote that Morrie said that inspired me was "Once you learn how to die, you learn how to
Not only does this movie deal with the issues of society, but it points to biblical scriptures that help lead us in the right direction. The biggest lesson that this film taught me was that if I put my complete faith in God, then no matter what happens, he will provide, watch over, and take care of me. I learned that expressing belief in God is not enough. I have to live everyday believing and trusting him and I have to show my trust and faith through my actions and my words.
Since animals, especially dogs, share similar emotions as people they to make great companions. Animals do show us how to love better, because their emotions are more pure than a human's. According to Mary Lou Randour, in "What Animals Can Teach Us About Spirituality", animals are spiritual companions to humans. She tells the story of a boy who, after murdering someone, receives a dog to care for as a form of therapy. The dog comforts him, and the teenager learns to love the animal over time. The boy's pet is "healing his soul" by teaching him how to love. Dogs give their masters unconditional love, never questioning the human's orders or disciplines. I thought the story of the dog appearing in the author's backyard as her dead grandfather was rather outlandish. All of Randour's examples of how animals influence our feelings were viable aside from the disappearing ghost dog.
