Jakeshia and I decided to go to Chuck E. Cheese, because this is where our childhood began. From toddlers to young teenagers, we used to go and celebrate birthdays, good grades, and family night here. When we were young children we did not worry about how unclean or unsafe this place may have been. We remember running around with fruit punch HI-C stains around our mouths, playing games to win tickets and get prizes. We went to the Chuck E. Cheese (4432 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022) on Sunday at approximately 5pm. When we arrived at Chuck E. Cheese, Jakeshia and I inspected the outside of the building to see how safe the environment was for children. We came to the conclusion that the placement of the establishment, was in a bad area. We feel like this establishment should be placed on private property and routinely surveillance and secured. When we walked inside it was very packed. The person at the front podium stamped our hands with a magical substance that glows under light. This stamp is supposed to be placed on the hands of every person who enters the building including children. Children were running everywhere! Some were with their parents or siblings, while others were alone and out the sight of an adult. There was so much noise we could not even hear ourselves think or speak. The inside was very colorful. The walls were painted purple, green, and red. As we walked around we noticed that space was very limited there was no room to walk and you was pretty much bumping into other people as you walk. After searching for an empty table by luck we started analyzing the building to come up with our 15 items. Our first items is color scheme over all the games are bright and vibrant with flashing patterns on some. On the other hand the walls of the building are painted purple, green, white, and red but they were dull making the room seem a …show more content…
The games was close together so if you was waiting in line to play a game that was next to another game your line sometimes merged together. Food and drinks, there wasn’t really anything healthy besides basic vegetable trays that looks like they bought it packed out of a store as well as the assorted fruits they had. For their drinks soda, water, and a few juice options are all they have like: Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Hi-C, Sierra Mist, Root beer, Gatorade, and etc. Creativity is next and we think it was good they have different creative games and how they added visuals like the screen in the back of the building was nice. Educational games there wasn’t a lot of them there was more violent games. Noise, the noise was overwhelming and not because of the screaming kids and loud talk it was that mixed with the music from the screen at the birthday section, the sounds from the games, and the preparations in the kitchen. I feel like things should be sectioned off in the building. For example party reservations should have its own room. Inside the place wasn’t clean and organized well there was food on the floor as well as the tables when people was finished and it took a while until someone came and cleaned it up or
2. Look back at "In Persuasion Nation." Write a number of advertisements for real (or imagined but realistic) products in the same fashion.
Through the entire essay the author, Russ Rymer inputs his own judgement into the essay expressing how they were making this town called Celebration out to be the best place on earth to live. He stated how Joel and Marlene spelled out the conceptual “cornerstones” of Celebration for him (Rymer 297). They made this community sound like it was going to be the best community and that everyone will come from all over the world to see this little community they had made. They made it sound out to be the ideal community where children can go play without any worries and “where playtime doesn’t end till mama called you in” (Rymer 298). As Rymer has stated, Celebration’s temporal compass was pointed to the past. In this community every house had to follow a set style pattern set forth by Disney known as the “Celebration Pattern Book” (Rymer 300). This pattern book dictates what every house needs to look like on the outside. As Rymer put it this book militates against a multitude of sins- moral and venial- to which modern builder are prone. All houses had to be built according to this book to be a part of the Celebration
In Chuck E. Cheese's Latest Tune: an Ode to Millennial Moms, the author, Craig Giammona, describes how Chuck E. Cheese is using target-marketing skills to reach a certain demographic. Giammona illustrates how the firm must reach the parents as well as the children because it is the parents who are actually taking their children to the facilities. Chuck E. Cheese’s new target market is based on age and family lifecycle, as discussed in lecture for chapter eight. Our generation, Millennials, is just recently becoming parents, and marketing to them is still a learning process.
The daycare is designed for staff to supervise all of the children. All tables and chairs are different shapes and sizes to suit of the child. When you enter the daycare there is a big open space filled with bright colors, colorful posters wall decorations and a chalk board, our chalk board is made of a writeable black paint. All of the tables and chairs are centered in the middle of the
The room is average, not amazing, not horrifying, just average. The medium sized windows let in a good amount of light, especially considering it's almost sunset. Minimal decorations and furniture are placed traditionally. The room displays nothing unique or original, nor does it even hint at its owner's questionable activities. It differs in one way from a typical teenage boys room. Not one item is out of place. Everything is crisp and clean as if it was taken straight out of a catalogue moments earlier.
They have failed to appropriately arrange the room and don’t allow enough creative freedom for the children to properly and adequately express themselves. Though this centre has a good foundation for success they still have a lot of work ahead to make it a responsive environment. It is important for the environment to promote healthy learning and inclusiveness for each of the children. Incorporating more play accessories, natural light, pathways, and more private quiet places they would do much better in succeeding in having a responsive
McDonald’s, one of America’s fastest growing fast food restaurants, has made more than its share of money within the last twenty years, serving more than 46 million people daily. They have twice as many restaurants as Burger King and more restaurants than KFC, Wendy’s, and Taco Bell combined. Often children have the dream of eating fast food for every meal of every day. Well, Morgan Spurlock took the challenge to see how dangerous it would be to eat McDonalds for every meal. He also took the challenge in response to a lawsuit against McDonalds by a family whose children became obese by the contents of its meals.
What is the best food to eat at 3 in the morning? It’s obviously pizza! But what toppings should go on top of the delicious pie is the real debate. When you hear people order "pineapple on pizza," they are either salivating in anticipation or gagging in disgust. The first time I heard about Hawaiian Pizza that includes pineapple on top, I cringed. When I saw it, I cringed harder, and when I first laid the doughy flatbread on my tongue, I cringed the hardest. As someone who loves pineapple and pizza separately and an avid food enthusiast, I know pizza. I have eaten plenty of pizzas before ranging from ordinary cheese to upscale vegan pizza. Pizza should be made with care, with love, and with delectable savory toppings selected with attentiveness. It is not meant to be randomly covered by a sugary tropical fruit.
Marketers are often accused of marketing to children to gain higher profits. Young children are targeted because they usually do not know right from wrong. Many people have criticized McDonald’s for advertising the Happy Meal towards young children for higher profits. Some people consider it unethical because the Happy Meal is so unhealthy. However, McDonald’s has taken many initiatives to show that it is a corporation that does not manipulate children for profit and that they care for children. The Ronald McDonald House Charities organization was created by McDonalds in 1974 to help children in need. The organization believes that helping one child will go a long way, and they express their commitment in their vision statement, “We believe when you change a child’s life, you change a family’s, which can change a community and, ultimately, the world” (Ronald McDonald House Charity). McDonald’s also provides donations for many other children’s charities and has taken steps to improve the Happy Meals by providing healthier options. McDonalds works hard towards making children all ove...

Fast foods By: Joe Pulse Fast food is a big problem in the United States, and it causes many people to become obese. But there are some fast food places that offer and sell some healthy stuff such as apples, and salads. We face many problems, not only with fast food but with the food we make at home that can also make people obese. The worst thing of it all is that we are letting the younger generation be changed by fast food.
Food is a major part of everyone’s everyday life. It’s hard to imagine life without the chocolate cake on your fingers or a carne asada taco in your mouth. Enjoying delicious desserts and fast food seem extremely magnificent to eat and spend money buying them. Although, there have been many controversies in the United States on how it’s the largest country with the most obesity regarding children, which affects their health, many people are still going throughout their day snacking. Many people in America are having full course meals with thousands of calories in one sitting not knowing the short term or long term side effects that are going to take a huge toll on their lives. Food is delicious, but it comes with a secret behind the savoriness/sweetness.
Some points should be change such as changing room stuff facilities zone where it shares with the bathroom, and allowing a cross contamination. In addition, the cash machine which is placed inside the kitchen should be out in somewhere. Even the dry food storage should be away from chilled and frozen food while they do not have other choice because of the building size, so be sure that foodstuffs not beside the refrigerator or freezer or any heat/warm sources that would effect their shelf life badly.
Meanwhile, due to the fact that the space is being designed specifically for the individuals needs therefore, it conveys personality and energy of the person. Evoke harmonized feelings, perspective and state of the client’s needs play major role in the final design. For instance, if a client wants to keep some of their existing sentimental valuables (such as a piece of art work), designers must work around that need. The designer can create do-it-yourself projects where they can satisfy the customer’s needs while being on budget. Harmony and balance are also important, so designers must keep in mind functionality ( feng
Junk food has been proven to be unhealthy long time ago. Junk food started to grow more and more recently and spread fast all over the world. Junk food reveals any food with high calories and low nutritional value. A big problem with junk foods is that satiation value of them is low, that means people need to eat a large amount of that unhealthy foods to feel full. So it is like eating a lot of poisons for a long time, what do you think the result will be on the health condition of the humans? Another problem of junk foods tend to replace other healthy foods; people who drink a lot of soda there is no room for healthy natural fruit juice in their stomach, people who are snacking on cookies, they’re not eating fruits and healthy vegetables (WebMD
