We have main function of solenoid valve in our model, so starting with solenoid valve was the only good idea we had that time. Of course, solenoid valve has a big variety of it so it was bit difficult for us to choose it. We searched many valves, we came across valves which were too huge and even not applicable to our project. There were some solenoid valve which were costly and even some of the valve were not suited in our application. Finally we came across RO valve which was most suited to our project. We the decided to go with conveyer belt and interface conveyer belt with arduino along with solenoid valve. So now we were to a decision of interfacing solenoid valve with conveyer belt. When we started for our project, we interfaced solenoid valve first. Solenoid valve can be operated with the 12V battery. After troubleshooting the circuit, we got the result what we want. Now we decided to check it with an LED. Here we thought of load cell as LED. So the basic idea was when the LED is off, solenoid valve opens and when LED is on solenoid valve is closed. Now we interfaced LED with arduino and tried to control solenoid valve. Then after we implemented conveyer belt with arduino along with solenoid valve. 3.2
