Beauty and good skin is important for women. They use all types of products to keep
their skin clear and to look beautiful, but to they know the chemicals that are in those products.
Many beauty products have ingredients that can cause life threating illnesses. In Source A, U.S.
researchers reported that one in eight of the 82,000 ingredients used in beauty products are
industrial chemicals. Some examples of industrial chemicals are reproductive toxins and
hormone disruptors. These can cause major illnesses to your body including cancer. Petrolatum
is a toxic chemical found in beauty products that can cause cancer. Women use products with
petrolatum every day and don’t know the consequences it can have.
In Source B, Dr. Andera Maxim talk about

toxins found in beauty products. She talks
about xenoestrogen which is a bi-product of industrial or chemical processing that has estrogen
like effects. She says that these bi-products can go into women’s tissues and cause growths. The
bi-products also mess with fat distribution. It can make fat accumulate in areas like the hips more
that it should. Some women workout to lose weight, but what if the beauty products they are
using is causing them to appear fatter than they are. They can be working out for nothing when
they can just give up their beauty products.

probably think about how her skin will look better and a thought of chemical toxins is not on her
mind. While she is laying, there are toxins and industrial chemicals is going into her body. Some
of these toxins and industrial chemicals can cause cancer and mess with body hormones. This
picture is say that while many women put these products on their face hoping to look beautiful

they are letting bad toxins and chemicals that can mess up the way their body works. In my
opinion, beauty is nothing compared to the symptoms of using beauty products with toxins and
chemicals in them.
