Synopsis The Dannon Company, Inc. is a child company of Danone, a global company that specializes in better-for-you food and beverages. Dannon follows suit by offering 200 types, styles and flavors of dairy products as well as medical supplements, baby food and the bottled water in US markets. Since its start in 1942, Dannon has amped up manufacturing, focused marketing for their line of fresh dairy products and increased market share in domestic yogurt sales. Dannon’s marketing efforts centered on growing yogurt consumption in North America and expanding the category. They accomplished this goal through a commitment to CSR, which is part of the overall mission for of the company.
