Why the Chipmunk has Such big Teeth Once upon a time, there was a chipmunk named Chippy. Chippy was a very adventurous chipmunk he would always go on long journeys to try and find some different kinds of foods to eat. He ate plants, and ants, and even Teddy’s pants, he ate berries, ferries, doors, smores, and even apple cores, Chippy could eat anything! Or so he thought. One day Chippy was strolling through the forest looking for a new food to take his mouth down to flavortown, when he eventually stumbled upon an older couple’s log cabin. Chippy had never been inside anything except a tree, so he decided to go in. Chippy waited for the couple to leave then snuck in a back window. Chippy was amazed he had never seen anything quite like this …show more content…
“Finally,” Chippy said, “How in the world can those humans talk so much.” Chippy decided he would explore the rest of the house today so he started to the bedroom. “Wow,” Chippy said, “Who in the world would put a huge rectangle in a room.” Chippy started to explore. In the weird rectangle room he found some cool things, but the coolest were these things leading to another room upstairs! Chippy ran upstairs, he had never seen anything quite like this amazing place he was in right now. When Chippy got upstairs there were a couple different things, but what caught his eye the most was a slightly cracked open door and what looked to be another water slide! Sadly though he heard the people coming back so he jumped out the nearest open window and headed home. Chippy knew he couldn’t only keep this to himself. The next day Chip ran to his friends house. “Seth Seth Seth!” Chippy yelled. “Wake up man!” Seth the snake was one of Chippy’s best friends. ( In cool deep voice) “What is it man I was sleeping.” “You have to come check this out,” Chippy said, “There is a huge place made out of trees, it has water slides and super cool stuff man, come on follow me.” “Whatever you say man,” Seth said as he headed off behind

All primates have essentially the same kinds of specialized mammalian teeth adapted to eating a wide variety of foods. Beginning at the front, each quadrant of the mouth has 2 incisors, 1 canine, and varying numbers of premolars and molars. The incisors are used like scissors for nipping off pieces of food. The pointed canines are for piercing and tearing. The premolars and molars, with their cusps, are used to grind and smash food. In platyrrhine species, there are 3 premolars and 2 or 3 molars. This results in a dental formula of 2.1.3.2 or 2.1.3.3. In contrast, all of the catarrhines have 2 premolars and 3 molars, making a dental formula of 2.1.2.3. The chimpanzee shown below is an Old World anthropoid species and, therefore, has a catarrhine dental formula.
One day in Lalaloopsy land, Tinytinker wanted to have a party with all of her friends, but she needed a lot of sweets so she wanted Crumbs to help her cook sweets. However she didn’t have a ride to go find her, so she told Pillow to go find Crumbs but Pillow fell asleep. Of course! Tinytinker didn’t think it would take that long so she found a ride.
Amelia and Jane were friends since they went to the same kindergarten in Rockville, Maryland. They lived close to each other and actually went to the same elementary, middle, and high schools together. Sadly, they happened to go different colleges but their colleges were both in the town where they lived, so they still get together and catch up on things on weekends. They share everything about their lives, and there is no secret between them. Not surprisingly, both Amelia and Jane started dating with guys in the fall semesters of their senior years. Jane majors in cell biology and genetics, and last year she went to the National Institutes of Health for a summer internship. She met Brad there and they started dating. Brad and his friend Eric both work at the NIH as post-doctoral researchers. Brad introduced his best friend, Eric, to Jane’s friend, Amelia. That was how two couples started double dating!
As time went by, we were hungry, so we ate food and bought drinks during the day. While we ate lunch, my friend told me that he still was hungry, so he got more food! After lunch, we changed into our bathing suits and decided to go to the water park. We went down long water slides. “I’m not going in the lazy river,” shouted Gavin.
Chipmunks live in eastern USA and southeastern Canada. Chipmunks also live in forests and near homes in the suburban and rural areas. They live under rocks or logs, under decks or in gutters. They mostly live in holes called burrows and they pack food in it for winter. Many chipmunks have certain parts of their burrow or tunnel where they store food, give birth, and sleep. Chipmunks burrows are made up of a nest made of grass leaves and fluffy flower seeds and they usually make it right before they are about to give birth.
They ran to the east side of the tree. On the other side was a huge surprise. It was a whole new world for them. They realized they were in another time. The first thing they did was look at their surroundings, and they saw a lot of top hats and gowns and multi-coloured parasols; everyone had a horse and buggy. They were in
On Halloween night Lenny the leprechaun saw that there was a haunted house. So, Lenny decided to go into the haunted house. As soon as Lenny walked in he regretted going in there. But he didn’t want to leave, so he kept going. It got so scary that he couldn’t take it anymore, so he ran as fast as he can and ran out. Outside it was so windy that the wind blew him away, and the wind was so strong that it blew him to a place that he has never been before. He didn’t know where he was, and he was getting very scared.
Suddenly, the whole shed begins to shake. Bob is seriously scared—not like creeped out; I mean, full-on terrified. Bob sprints to the door and tries to open it, but it is locked from the outside! With all the commotion going on, Bob faints!
"Oh, Matrix!" he sang. "I know you’re watching me, so come on and fight me, you snake!" He held up the green-pink Frisbee all Libellule’s lackeys had.
The boy knew better anyway the inebriated man went back to go pass out in his chair. I turned to the window when a board creaked and there he was standing on his tip toes peeping in. He raced off the porch to the back of the house and opened the door of a small shed, he grabbed a red canister. Almost tripping up the steps, he lightly twisted the door handle desperately not to make a single sound. Quietly he navigated around his father faithful seat, pouring gas all around it and back to the door.
A little boy with a toothless smile came running toward me. I stopped him and gave him my water slide tickets. He gave me a smile that said I had given him the world and ran away squealing after his daddy. I sighed again and thought, "Well, at least he's happy!" My throat tightened as I swallowed another sob. I quickened my pace to the changing room. I wanted to get away from this place as soon as possible. I opened the door and walked in. The smell of sulfur, soap, and shampoo assaulted my nostrils, while the sight of naked wom...
Habits of the Creative Minds is a simple textbook with a particular twist. I began reading the book thinking it was going to be a basic textbook, but the author,Richard E. Miller and Ann Jurecic, changed the tone of the book and put it into a metaphor. This metaphor was about the reader in your writing, or for anyone reading should feel like Alice in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. The reader should be reading, and figuratively fall into the reading, by this the authors means the reader should not want to put that book down. They should be engulfed in the book and read from cover to cover. The attention must be maintained and the best way to do this is by making the writing unique. The authors of this book puts
