Have you ever heard of a hockey team called the Bone Crushers? I heard that when the Bone Crushers check you, you can hear their bones grinding from outside the arena and they save all their hardest checks for the last ten seconds of the game. One ordinary day, Owen Ramboer, the Bone Crushers’ star defenseman, woke up to the soothing sound of blue jays chirping and sweetly tapping on his window with their beaks. He sprung out of his pyjamas and into his clothes, and he practically flew into his socks and running shoes. He walked into his kitchen to discover an invitation to a hockey game. He was eating his Froot Loops soaked in milk, which he loved because it made him feel energized inside. The restaurant was called The Stop and Taste. Owen ordered a steak sandwich with no onions. Isaac their amazing goalie ordered a poutine. Their other awesome goalie ordered a single-size pizza with only pepperoni and bacon. Owen was the first to speak: "This is probably just a prank," and the rest of the team agreed. The invitation said, “Meet the other team at the big oak tree.” It was just five o'clock when the hockey team started to leave for the oak tree, but when they least expected it . . . pow! A very big branch fell off a tree. Owen jumped out of his car and used his giant arms to move the branch to the side of the road. Isaac was the first to remind Owen, "Remember what happened to you last time you tried to pick up something that heavy? You almost threw your back out.” They ran to the east side of the tree. On the other side was a huge surprise. It was a whole new world for them. They realized they were in another time.
