Now just having this an extremely rare and this almost no research so there is no proof that the enhancement does all the work.(Epstein,7) The "Outliers" has a lot more scientific proof that took years to research. In the writing it talks about mastering the violin and there were three unique classes that practice for different segments of time. They studied these classes for years to see their difference and they saw a huge gap amidst classes. Since the more you practice the more you get better. The Outlier has enough proof then the Sport Genes so practice make perfect. In both the writings created by these authors share at least one thing which is the idea of how skill is gained. In Outliers Gladwell ask if there is such thing as innate talent and the answer is yes. In Gladwell writing he talks about how training improve your ability which has been proven true. Epstein states in his writing that the tendon was born modified but with training he can become better and improve. Moreover, Gladwell prove that there are more factors then just innate talent such as talent. Lastly, although Epstein had some proof that innate talent help Gladwell proves that there is more than just innate talent that help you master a skill.

While some say the 10,000 hour rule is the key to success I believe that success is based on genetics, talent, and time period. I will be comparing the information in the article with the content from the week 6 Qualifying Sports Training lecture. The four areas of comparison will be; the definition of overtraining, the cause of overtraining, the effects of over training, and the recovery time from overtraining. My intent is to properly explain how to play a sport the different things that are required to play any the many sports out there. Learning a sport takes time, and the ability to be coachable in whatever sport you might do. In every sport your coach gives you tips on how to improve on different attributes that may help you better yourself as an athlete. These tips that are given and learned, help improve the overall ability that you have in the sport. In learning these skills you are cognitive, associative, and autonomous which help you the skills you learned and use them effectively. These theories all have something to do with process of learning that takes place in any sport played.
For some time many people thought that the best way for an athlete to see gains in there sport was to adapt a weight training program. By lifting heavy and light weights they were able to increase their overall strength and therefore become more efficient athletes. Though this is true, there are other ways that athletes have been taught to train. Along with lifting weights, training their power has been seen to be a much more efficient way of improving their athletic performance.
