Common School Stereotypes Of Loners In High School

One very common school stereotype archetype is the loner. They say a loner is one that prefers not to deal with others. People often refer to the loner group as hermits, recluse, introverts, and outsiders. Those people are the extreme loners. A loner is normally very quiet and just observes events that are going on around them. They tend to listen to what is going on, but do not get their opinion in or voice their opinion on the subject. They are usually observing the situation but do not feel the need to make changes to others. Most of the time they will not have many friends, if they do it is very few like one or two. When they are in a group they tend to be quiet and only give short answers when asked a question. One of the upsides to not having many friends is they will not have to deal with all the drama that other high school students make a big deal out of. Most people picture loners to be on the heavier side with an average height. The age group for this stereotype is a very wide range it would start at kindergarten when they are very young and it would follow up through the school years. It is very common for loners to have their own style especially in clothing. They tend to dress to what pleases them and not care about the style trends that are occurring. If they like wearing dresses they would wear that or maybe they just enjoy wearing a normal day basics of jeans and a t-shirt. No matter what they wear it is always their own individual style. They are not influenced much with peer pressure. A lot of times they are shown with glasses and are very smart. Most of the time a loner would be very awkward in social situations. Some even say that loners get depressed easily and have unrealistic goals but I believe that they tend to accomplish their goals more easily because of fewer
