Deciding whether or whether not college is worth all the time and money it requires is a very big debate. There are many different articles that show how college is worth all the time and money. There are also articles that prove why college is a waste of all the time and money it requires. Many high school graduates face that decision. There are those graduates who decide college is a very rich investment. There are the other graduates who think college is a very fortuneless investment when it comes down to all the time and money it requires. There are quite a few people that are millionaires but don’t even have a college degree. Bill Gates, who invented Microsoft, Facebook’s, Mark Zuckerberg, or Steve Jobs, who invented Apple. However, many think that college is an amazing thing even though some disagree. They think that college is a waste of their time and money. “A good proportion of those attending a four year college fail to graduate.”(Vedder 78) Some people who graduate college with a degree end up with a wretched job such as a janitor or a parking lot aid. “There are plenty of rewarding and important jobs and careers that do not require college.” (Rotherham 79) “Some people who attempted to go to college and graduate with a degree failed to earn a degree and ended up with many student loans and in debt.”(Vedder 75) Many high school graduates are afraid to enter college because of all the money it requires. Those who don’t pursue a college degree often end up with a diminished income. When there is a subordinate income, there is a second class standard of living.
Nevertheless, some high school graduates do not want to go to college there are always some who want to pursue a college education and degree.

The money that the college graduates bring in from their job that they use their degree at is spent to help pay off their loans. Conclusively, the advantages of having a college degree is greater than those whose superlative level of education is a high school diploma. Having a college degree makes for a more sophisticated life for your family, which includes unsubstantial struggling to have all the necessities for your family. Even though their are people continuing to drop out or not even go to college, those who take the challenge of college are often receiving a better life.
