A first job gives many people a purpose and often times promotes dedication, work ethic, and a well rounded character. My first Job served as a wake up call to see the world as a continuos circle of capital to be generated, it opened doors to new hobbies and experiences as well. In my junior year of high school I was given an opportunity to apply to my local gym as a lifeguard and I jumped at the opportunity. I now have experience with Job applications, interviews, and how to conduct myself in a professional manner which are all great skills to have in the work force. I am very grateful that my first job has given me the ability to realize the true worth of a dollar and that with hard work comes great reward. I have truly realized because of

in seeing the original of this work. I have gained a lot of respect for
I believe that it is the responsibility of every student who has received an education in a state school to give something back to the state. This state contains many institutions that offer curricula of quality primary education and is home to several above-average secondary or college institutions as well. Students who receive the state's gift of education should show their gratitude by using that knowledge to improve their community.
My journey of self realization was complete and it brought me to a state of mind that helped me realize that I could achieve anything I put my mind and heart to. This life changing moment defines me as a person and spurred my drive for excellence in everything I
That summer after school I just wanted to find a job and start making some money. Going to college for anther four year was something I thought I could not handle. I final got a job at UPS unloading trucks. At first I thought how hard could it be? But every day I would come home exhausted from working in the heat. And then when I got tiny pay check, it hit me. From then on I decided that manual labor was something that I could not do the rest of my life and I could definitely not support a family on that income. A job behind a desk in the air conditioning was what I wanted.
For several years, I have known I wanted a career involving higher-level mathematics. However, it was not until recently did I discover an interest to become a mathematician, who collaborates with other mathematicians, contributes to the math community, and has the opportunity to teach and excite students about mathematical topics. After spending two years studying at Weatherford Community College, in Weatherford TX, I chose to continue my undergraduate education at the University of Houston, in Houston TX, to study mathematics. The transition from a community college to a considerably larger research university was challenging, however by managing my capabilities and quickly adjusting to the different methods of learning, I stayed able to
First event that I accomplished was when I got my high school diploma. Even though finishing high school was not an easy task for me, those days were the best moments of my life. I always knew that if I would finish high school and then hold the diploma in my hands I would always make my parents and of course feel very proud. My parents are proud because I am their oldest child and I am the first who graduated high school successfully. This is my first year in college, I am majoring biology, and some day I would have not a high school graduation but I would be a graduate from college. My dream is to be a physician assistant. I hope that some day I will achieve all of my goals. When I would get my degree it would be one of my greatest accomplishments.
Thus, I realized the importance of education
I was always trying to do better of what was expected of me and always try to improve somehow, whether if it's by watching my co-workers or asking for help. Going into work the next week, nothing prepared me for receiving my first paycheck. As I walked in, on a Friday afternoon, I felt a great sense of happiness to finally be able to work and earn my own money.
A big event in my life that definitely had an influence in my maturing is the experience of getting my first official job. Regardless of what that first job may be, we all experience some similar feelings. Responsibility, experience, perseverance, are only a few of them. Personally, I felt the need to impress my manager as much as possible in order to prove that even though he hired an unexperienced worker, he made the right decision.
Over the summer of 2016, I finally got my first job. At nineteen, I felt out of place not ever having a job while all of my friends worked, but my parents said I never needed one. What changed, was that I was now commuting to school, and I was going to be paying for it out of my own pocket, to reduce how many loans I was taking out from the bank. I interviewed for a few places before I found myself sitting in Noodles and Company in Medford. It was the easiest interview I had done, and by the end of the interview I was offered a job.
It’s lucky for me to have parents who can support me to go to school and have a happy life. I see the miserable life of those people and I feel more than ever that I should work hard so that I’m not wasting my advantages. That’s the most important thing I learnt from this job. And it’s good to learn it before too late.
Personaly my job is to use my experience and the experiences of others to both better them and myself in the process. I want to help people grow. I want to help people explore and understand themselves better.
It is expected that usually nobody looks forward to their first job, but that wasn’t the case for me. I remembered wanting a job last summer, but I never put the effort in looking for one or even knew what kind of job I wanted to take. But, someone I knew approached me about a job that deals with working with kids. When she recommended me, I got the job, and I went from there. Up to this day, I look forward to going to work.
I wanted to get a job this year mostly because it will prepare me for the years to come. My mom always tells me that I have the rest of my life to work, so why rush into it? Well, I want to have experience and get good at balancing school and work, because once I graduate I don’t want to enter the “real world” like a lost puppy. It’s time to grow up. Another reason I wanted to start working is because my mom inspired me. When she was in high school she had a little part-time job and saved most of her money. Once she got out of high school, she still kept saving. When she married my dad at the age of 22, she had over 15,000 saved, and she was the one who paid the down payment on their first house. I want to be able to do that. Not necessarily get married at 22 and be able to buy a house, but having money saved is better than having no money at all. My parents have been divorced for some time now, though, and my dad lives in Texas. I know they will both support me in whatever I decide to do, regardless of how things turned out. My dad has always pushed me to be the best I can be, in school especially. I think the reason behind that is because he didn’t go to college, and neither did my mom. He has always seen the potential in me that I have never been able to see in
