Sunita Williams was an aspiring astronaut and claims she would have gotten into space without her Dad’s help. Helen Keller, the braveheart and a human activist was the first blind-deaf women to have a bachelor’s degree in arts and it was her father who motivated her and helped her accomplish her goals in life. I would not be who I am today without my dad. My dad is someone I admire because of his talent in coaching, his kind heart, and his challenging past. I really do owe it my dad because he is my basketball coach and has made me into a superior player and wonderful teammate. My dad has been my coach since first grade, and has put in lots of work to make me and my team very productive. As west girls C-squad coach, he has very high expectations to make us all fantabulous athletes and to push ourselves to be our very best. He also doesn’t just make us all into outstanding athletes, but makes us into supportive teammates who are selfless and kind to one another. Our team is very successful, and we don’t lose a lot, but part of the reason for that is our team bond. We are not just teammates, we are best friends thanks to my dad. My dad works very hard at his job to make his company run smoothly and be effective. Even after long days of work and coaching, he will always come home with a smile on his face and a positive attitude. He loves doing family activities such as watching movies or playing a kickball game. As a family, we are very competitive with each other, but we still always have a blast. Because of his values of generosity and gratitude, he is a great role model for my brother and I. Both of my parents support me in everything I do from athletes to academics, which I am very thankful
