Why this is important This research is important in finding out key facts in the workplace that can guide the way we establish policies, conduct business, and govern ourselves within organizations. In general, research is about discovery. Throughout this research paper, I will discuss through analytical research methods the effects of cleanliness, happiness, and satisfaction on productivity in the workplace. What theoretical area you will be looking at Managers of organizational behavior want to know the nature of the attitudes of their employees toward their jobs and towards the organization overall. Job behaviors and attitudes of employees in organizations are a top priority in order to achieve the individual and organizational objectives through their performance. For my research I will be looking at three main constructs: cleanliness, happiness, and satisfaction. Thus this paper investigates the relationship between cleanliness, happiness, and satisfaction on employee productivity. What people are talking about When it comes to cleanliness in the workplace we want to know the actual benefits reaped from employees on job sites. Cleaning work areas on a normal basis help prevent dirt buildup, grime, and dust, but there are several other reasons employees should be concerned with cleanliness at job sites (work.chron.com). The biggest topics of discussion are: Infection control, injury prevention, professional reputation, legal compliance, and employee satisfaction. It has been said that people tend to take more pride in their work in a clean work environment. Workplace cleanliness is very important for employee morale.
