People have eyes. The parts in the eye work together to send a signal to the optic nerve. The optic nerve then sends these signals to the visual cortex — the part of the brain that controls our sense of sight. Maybe you knew this, but most likely you did not. Many people simply look at something and react to the thing they are looking at. This analogy is very much comparable to worldviews. People use worldviews on a daily basis. Though you may not know it, it is how you view life. You may not take time to analyze how and why you see things, but you still do see things. There are many different worldviews that exist. Different denominations of Christianity have varying worldviews. There are varieties of particulars within the Christian worldview, and disputes of the meaning of concepts in a Christian worldview, but certain thematic elements are common in the Christian worldview. (2)”. The Christin worldview affirms theism, the belief in the existence of a supernatural God. Christianity believes in Trinitarian Theism (The belief in one God who exists as three separate persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). Christian theism rests primarily on two foundations: special revelation (The Bible) and general revelation (the created order). Special revelation answers the questions How can I be saved? They also believe that our faith hinders us from seeing the truth through their secular science. However, in a way that is an invalid argument, because they have faith in science. Wouldn’t that bias be blocking them out from the truth? You see, faith is critical in every philosophy. The biggest difference between Christians and Scientific Pantheists, is that we don’t base truth on Science, we base science on truth. Origin Science (Norman L. Geiser and J. Lewis stated that people became scientific because they expected Law in nature and “They expected Law in Nature because they believed in a Legislator.”. There are certain things in which all Christians believe, and one is that God is the supreme source of all being and reality (ontology and cosmology). Our belief about metaphysics is clearly laid out in scripture: “In the beginning [of the cosmos] was the Word [Logos, minds, reason, thought, wisdom, intelligence, idea, law order, purpose, design], and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.” (John 1:1-4) Not
