How to bake Chocolate Chip Cookies Making cookies is one of the easiest things you can do. I make cookies so often that I no longer use a recipe. My favorite kind of cookies to make is soft, gooey, chocolate chip cookies. Keeping things clean and organized is very important. There are the tips and tricks I have acquired over the many batches of cookies I have made that I would like to share.
Preparing all ingredients and utensils needed to bake chocolate chip cookies is a breeze. The first step I always take is washing my hands. Simple but when making any sort of food it is always important to wash your hands. You need to preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. For the utensils, begin by getting a medium-sized bowl, a microwavable bowl, cookie sheets, cooling racks, measuring cups, spoons, a spatula, and a whisk. For the dry ingredients, gather granulated sugar, brown sugar, flour, and baking soda. For the wet ingredients, get a stick of butter, two eggs, vanilla and milk chocolate chips. …show more content…

Next, put the stick of butter in the microwavable bowl and melt the butter in the microwave with the duration of ten-second intervals. Measure out one cup of granulated sugar and lightly pack another cup of brown sugar. The more brown sugar you use the softer the cookies will be. Pour the two cups of sugar into the medium-sized bowl. After the butter has melted, pour it over the sugars and mix with a whisk until fully combined. Crack two eggs and add a teaspoon of vanilla into the medium-sized bowl, avoid getting any shells in and whisk again until fully combined. Add a teaspoon of baking soda and whisk.
