Well hello. I'm going to tell you about a hobby, which have stolen my whole beating heart. Chile peppers! Few years ago I just thought I'd try to get something to grow with seeds, which I took from a random market chili pepper. I managed to get few about 10 centimeter stems and couple of leaves for each. Sadly, neither of them survived. I think I accidentally drowned them. I went to browse the internet forums and that was it. I ordered seeds up to ten different varieties and some equipment to germinate them properly. And soon I was so excited I had to order more seeds for plants with different looks and different flavors. Now the thing has gone completely out of control. House full of plants and some growing lights. Also got a several fruits …show more content…
Seeds you can get from internet forums for example chilifoorumi.fi or you can order them from fataliiseeds.net where is a wide selection of different varieties. Versatility of chili varieties will surprise each novice grower. Among them there are several ornamentals, hot, mild, heatless, large, tiny and even pods with different colors! I'd recommend you to pick many different varieties to find your favorites and to keep interest ratio high. 1.1 So you got your hands on the seeds? After selecting the varieties, you need to find a way to germinate them. Best time would be in the beginning of the year. Plants have time to grow and to be ready for spring sun. One way to start is making a floating little ferry for the seeds. The ferry can float in small container or bowl full of water. Put the paper or some kind of cloth on the ferry and let it partly hang in water so that it stays moist. In due time seeds on the paper starts to sprout. When the first seedlings sprout, it’s time to move them to soil. I prefer to germinate seeds straight in soil or in peat bricket. When the first REAL pair of leaves has appeared, you must decrease watering. Most chile-peppers like more dry than a wet …show more content…
It was like a first major milestone. About a week from that there was my first flowers. My chilies were blooming! That feeling was memorable. Some of the flowers develops to fruits. Or "pods" how they're called by growers. 2.2 My target achieved Till now I have had about five different variety pods from my plants. Some have been only good as a flavoring food but some have been also delicious snack. I know, there are people who thinks that every chili is just a chili and they all tastes same. But they really have many different flavors and textures. Some are more suitable to some specific food than other variety of chili. Ok, sometimes even I forget that every person has their own taste. 2.3 How to use your huge yield I love cooking and spicy food so these really walk hand in hand. I think you can put chili almost in every food you can imagine. Some variety can even suit to porridge! On a bread, in salads and soups. There is space for tiny pinch of flavor in every food. But there’s another thing, you should remember when you have handled super-hot ones. Don't touch any sensitive part of your body before cleaning your hands for example with cooking oil and
I don’t really like chiles, but because it bears a lot of health benefits, my mindset with the chiles have changed. “The Joy of Jalapeños” written by Jose Antonio Burciaga, an author and a Chicanismo expert, is an essay that talks about the author’s personal relation with the jalapeños, where he demonstrates the various kinds of health benefits of the chiles, the Chicano’s masochistic cuisine and culture, and his own analysis about it. And through his own experiences, and thoughtful and careful examination of scientific evidence about the health benefits of a jalapeños, Burciaga have persuaded me into consuming more jalapeños.

Since then, whenever our school served taco salads, I will always ask them for an extra side of jalapeños. When I first tried a jalapeño, it felt different because it tasted different from the other chiles that I have tried. It taste better than the normal chiles that I have ate and knew. I don’t really eat chiles, but considering the jalapeño’s distinct flavor which stands out in many other chiles, my mindset about not eating it had changed. I’ve become a fan of jalapeños. I started asking our school cafeteria when will they next the serve taco

The essay Eating Chili Peppers, written by Jeremy MacClancy, is a description essay. This author demonstrates a concise descriptive nature using a very fixed vantage point. It is clear to any reader what the author’s opinion of eating chili peppers is. The writer uses various similes to ignite the reader’s senses and leave a dominant impression. For example, “Biting into a tabasco pepper is like aiming a flame-thrower at your parted lips” (287) and “Tears stripe your cheeks, and your mouth belches fire like a dragon celebrating its return to life” (287).
Chipotle Mexican Grill idea of providing quality in a simple menu with high-quality ingredients, classic cooking techniques and a distinctive interior design has remained at the core of the commitment. Chipotle ability to serve a menu that focuses only on servicing burritos, burrito bowls, tacos and salads is a success. Customers can mix and match their options even though they are only limited to meats, beans, rice, salsa and topping. These ingredients are mostly organically grown from local farmers to provide top-quality nutrition and value. To keep up the quality of their food, Chipotle food preparation remains fundamental. It is mainly prepared from scratch and on site but some preparations are completed at nearby commissaries. This contributes to their fresh taste.

Find a container for proper storage. This container has to be completely clean and moisture proof. It is best to do away with papers and cotton because these materials can be very absorbent of water. Keeping the seeds in a cool, dry jar will eliminate any risk for the seeds to rot or to develop some molds. The storage place should not be exposed under direct sunlight.

The tobacco crop goes through a long and tedious process before it is ultimately ready to become a Cuban Cigar. The first step in the process is to prepare the beds for the tobacco seedlings. After the beds are made, the tobacco seeds are planted. The next step involves topping the plants and removing the suckers. This is done to increase the vitality of the plants. After about 2 ½ to 3 months, the plant reaches maturity and is then harvested. The tobacco crop is harvested leaf by leaf.

In some popular approaches to winter eating, we need to put on mind that winter is described as the time to store up on heavier, high-calorie foods. Whole grains that include the nutrient dense bran and germ make the perfect example of a good winter choice. Seeds are another great example of a healthy compacted winter food, especially sunflower and sesame seeds, which are considered especially warming in some traditions. Dried beans and lentils that would be used in preparing of a hearty winter soup would also fit into this category of smaller, dense, and compacted
