For example, Salvadorian and Mexican beans contain a lot of iron and fiber and are very important for every one health. Furthermore, caretakers and parents can improve their menu by providing more fruit, vegetables, fat-free dairy and whole grains in order to have a healthy life style.
To be healthy you must have four unsettles ingredients. These four things are eating healthy and the right amount, exercising regularly, sleeping well, and getting the right nutritious vitamins. A child two to eight years old need the same four unsettles to be healthy. The only difference is that they need a different amount of each that an adult. They must eat the recommended intake in each food group corresponding with their age and sex stated in the Canada’s food guide. They must also get daily excurses, with lots of sleep. I will be inspecting the intake of food a child in daycare consumes each day to see if them meet the recommendations set by The Canada food guide. Studying their strengths and weaknesses and how thy can be improved.
Having a safe and healthy childcare setting is one of the most important duties in a daycare. Educators practising good healthy procedures is a good way for children to learn about healthy choices as educators are, good role models.

For, as the world waged war a second time, the United States began to worry about the strength and health of the country’s soldiers. Unfortunately, many children coming from poorer families could not afford well-balanced school lunches, so in order to compensate, the School Lunch Program changed its focus to help these students. This program, however, decreased schools’ lunch budgets, and schools had a hard time keeping up with the amount of free meals they had to provide, so they came up with some extra ways to increase revenue. However, in a small town in Massachusetts, one chef makes a difference in the health of the school lunch students eat each day, and proves that hiring a trained chef to cook real, healthy meals can increase profit. Unfortunately, that is not the case in most schools across the nation. At the daycare, the teachers met both of those requirements. For example, I examined the teacher inform each parent about if their child was eating at snack and at meal times. The teacher encouraged the parents to bring in a snack for their child because it is important that all the kids eat. I also watched the kids play with pretend fruit and vegetables. The leader pretended to eat the food, and then she said, “Yum this is very delicious and healthy, you and your families should eat this too.” The teacher also makes sure if they eat in front of the children it is either the same thing they are eating, or something healthier. Suddenly stopping on a channel displaying a portly child no older than 5 years old, but still appears to be the size of a grossly overweight 8 year old. You can’t help but stop and feel woeful as you focus in on the story being told about this poor child that suffers from extreme levels of obesity, and the limits to daily activities which a normal child of such age group could participate in. The story progresses to show you the activities of the average day in the life of this child, most of which involve snacking on junk food and unhealthy meal portions and content. One meal usually contains more food than most people would consume over the course of many days. The amount of unhealthy junk food and fast food taken in by this child’s system during the course of a day is more than a doctor would be recommended for the average adult of the course of a month.
