King Curtis from ABC TV series Wife Swap once said something that I related to like nothing ever before, “I really do like chicken nuggets. Chicken nuggets is like my family.” For as long as I can remember I have had a love for chicken nuggets. Whether it’s for a snack or for dinner, from Wendys, Mcdonalds, or Chick-fil-a; chicken nuggets are always my go-to. Chicken nuggets are so bad, but so, so delicious. With every bite, I fall more and more in love with the tiny, crispy little pieces of heaven. Chicken nuggets are my favorite food because of their luscious look, mouthwatering smell, and their scrumptious taste.
First, when I open that little rectangular box, the chicken nuggets catch my eye and I admire their unforgettable look. The curves of the chicken nuggets look like the winding road I am driving down to get home and eat them and the shallow holes are like the potholes I avoid. The gold, crispy breading of the delicious chicken nuggets distract me from the road and lure all of my attention toward them. The light amount of grease on the chicken nuggets shimmer like the sun touching a still, blue lake and blind me.

smelt before. The smell of the freshly cooked chicken nuggets completely eliminated the smell the Hawaiian scented air freshener in my car. The perfect combination of grease, salt and spices make up the potent smell of the nuggets. One sniff of the chicken nuggets, and I float to cloud nine. Most people are busy snorting drugs to get high, but I get high from smelling the savory smell of my one and only, all time, favorite food. Finally, I sit down, reopen the little rectangular box, open my small tub of barbeque sauce and taste the unforgettable taste of the crispy, savory chicken nuggets.
The first bite into chicken nugget remains the one I look forward to most. The first taste of the chicken nuggets make my taste buds jump for joy. The golden breading has just the right crunch, the white chicken inside holds an abundant amount of juiciness and the tangy barbeque sauce is like the cherry on top. The crunchy breading has the perfect amount of seasonings and salts. The juicy white chicken takes me to heaven and back each time I bite into it. The maroon barbeque sauce has just the right amount of tanginess and sweetness to drive me
crazy.
The chicken tenders are fried to a golden brown crisp. With every bite you take you can taste and feel how tender and fresh the chicken is. The fries are cooked to perfection. They are not too hard and not too soft and salted just right. The Texas toast is immaculate. It is warm, fluffy, crunchy, and buttery. With every order, Raising Cane’s adds their special sauce. The sauce completely complements the chicken, fries, and toast. It is tart, tangy, and sweet and has a little pow.
Chicken nuggets is a popular food to many people. Many may ask who makes the best fast- food chicken nuggets ? This question is probably the most opinionated question ever ? There are many fast foods restaurants that sell chicken nuggets such as: Wendy’s , Mcdonald’s ,Burger King and Chick- fil-a.These four different restaurants all have different tastes to their nuggets. Now in my opinion ,chicken nuggets from Chick-fil-a are the best . They have great chicken and that is more flavorful. One other difference from chick-fil -a and these other fast foods restaurants is there chicken isn’t processed. The chicken is seasoned and cooked to perfection in the restaurant. According to Johnson , Chick-fil-A takes the title. The classic McNuggets are second, followed by Burger King and Wendy's.

A year later we moved the United States, and i no longer had my favorite tacos to look forward to, instead I had burgers and hot dogs, and a million other things my small brain couldn 't comprehend. Every christmas we had chicken tamales, and at every party we had beef stew. It became a tradition; we were a meat family, and I the biggest meat eater of all. Soon after I discovered the wonders of rare meats and other cuisines, I became a veteran of Thai, Italian, Vietnamese, Korean, Mediterranean, and other new kinds of foods. I tried a plethora of eccentric meats; brain, tongue, eyeballs, tentacles; I even ate grasshoppers, and ants. Thus it was that I became one of the most dedicated and adventurous meat-eaters you were ever likely to meet. I liked my meat bloody, perhaps thirty seconds on each side, slap it on a plate and I would be
As a child I remember my mom preparing Sunday dinner Saturday afternoon. I was told it took time to prepare everything. Then come Sunday dinner after church we had some of the biggest meal placed before us. Mac and cheese, collard greens, cornbread that looked like pound cake, pork chops, fried chicken, etc. As I got older I asked for some of those recipes and she could never answer what all I needed to do she showed me. Her main concern was I loved what I was cooking and to cook to please others. I guess that explained all the salt, pepper, and other heavy ingredients. I choose to write about soul food because I believe it’s a part of my heritage and its a meal I enjoy from time to time. African American Registry states that in order to understand

As many people know in todays world there are two of just about everything. There are the original item and the “knock off,” brand or item. One widely known knock off brand would be Great Value. With food there are a lot of things that have two sides, one being Hot Cheetos. Some people say that the knock brand is always better or eventhe same but some people beg to differ.
The digestive system otherwise known as the gastrointestinal tract (GI tract) is a long tube which runs from the mouth to the anus. It operates to break down the food we eat from large macromolecules such as starch, proteins and fats, which can’t be easily absorbed, into readily absorbable molecules such as glucose, fatty acids and amino acids. Once broken down, these molecules can cross the cells lining the small intestine, enter into the circulatory system and be transported around the body finally being used for energy, growth and repair.
Fried chicken, a meat product that uses parts of chickens that are “coated with batter and seasoned, flour, and fried” (The Free Dictionary). It is popular all over the world, but is especially popular in the Southern community. However, in the African-American community, this meat product has taken on a racial meaning in the United States. It has become stereotypical for African-Americans to love fried chicken, along with watermelons, cornbread, and collard greens. This new meaning to fried chicken has affected our social community as well. The reason why this stereotype exists in the first place is hidden in history, dating back to the years when slavery was common.
Recently there have been many outstanding acquisitions that McNuggets are made of pink slime. “Jamie Oliver demonstrated how meat scraps and sinew are spun in a centrifuge and “washed” with ammonium hydroxide, which has also become known as Pink Slime.” (Michelle Schoffro Cook) Although it has never been proved to be one-hundred percent true there are also some videos that were released that shows how they are made. In the released video there were some things that looked like pink slime but McDonald’s still claimed it to be chicken. Some people still feel like the video was only released to cover up the truth about McDonald’s nuggets. “We’re still not quite convinced of Imahara’s enthusiasm or the chicken wisdom that’s being fed to us. Maybe next time, Mickey D’s?”( Carly
Every business needs to be approved by the BIR because it is needed when issuing a receipt. Even though REB Chicken Dealer is tax exempted the BIR is still needed because they are issuing a receipt to their customer.
The commercial that caught my eye to write about is the Burger King chicken fries commercial. The commercial uses talking chickens as the main persuasive element. The commercial starts by showing two chickens approaching another chicken that is hanging around a group of french fries on a stair case. The two chickens taunt the chicken for hanging out with the packages of french fries. They state that he might want to be a french fry, and the chicken replies with “Maybe I do want to be a french fry.” The two chickens mock for saying that he wants to be a french fry, but every time they mock him he states “Maybe I do”, referring to being a chicken fry. After arguing for quite some time, the chicken that is with the fries looks at the camera all serious like and says “Maybe I do… want to be a french fry.” Once the chicken scene is completed the commercial goes straight into a viewing of the finished “chicken fry.” From the looks of it on the commercial it makes me want to go out and get some myself and I’m sure the fry and chicken eaters feel the same way, who would resist something called a “chicken fry”?
McDonalds chicken nuggets were my favorite meal as a kid. Theres nothing like getting a free toy and some greasy food. However, I 've gotten older and my palette has changed. As a kid I struggled with obesity and fast food was a major contributor. I now live in an area where fast food is really not an option. On the other hand, some Americans only option is fast food.
The overwhelming fragrances of sickly-sweet candyfloss mixed with unflattering odours of fat and grease bubbling vigorously in the fryers attacking my insides causing my stomach to turn. The scrumptious aroma of popcorn has got my taste buds and is tingling down the back of my throat. I’m gasping at the enormous roller coaster with the tiny black dummies waving their arms around helplessly and screaming-over and over again drowning out the unfamiliar tunes playing from the juke box.
Food is essential in everyone’s daily life. Keeping an eye on my personal eating diets is very helpful to live a healthy life. The food diary is recorded once a week, with information of the food I eat during the day and my initial observations. My experience is very enlightening. There are evident changes of my eating and living habits, which leads me to comprehend the interactions between student life and the backstory of food better.
