A young college student named Todd Graves had a vision that he could open a restaurant and only sell high quality chicken finger meals. He proposed his vision to his college professor as a business plan assignment and got a very low grade on the assignment. Later, he went to many banks offering his business plan and each time he got denied. Todd then went on to work and raise his own money for his dream. This eventually led him to working in Alaska. After Todd got back from Alaska, he returned to Baton Rouge where he opened his dream restaurant. This restaurant is known as Raising Canes.

The chicken tenders are fried to a golden brown crisp. With every bite you take you can taste and feel how tender and fresh the chicken is. The fries are cooked to perfection. They are not too hard and not too soft and salted just right. The Texas toast is immaculate. It is warm, fluffy, crunchy, and buttery. With every order, Raising Cane’s adds their special sauce. The sauce completely complements the chicken, fries, and toast. It is tart, tangy, and sweet and has a little pow.
In addition, the atmosphere of Raising Cane’s is pleasant. The atmosphere is very friendly, warm, and welcoming. The chairs and tables are really comfortable to sit and eat at. On the wall there are various posters of popular culture hero’s and movies depending on which restaurant you go to. For example, the Raising Cane’s in Opelousas has a poster of Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction. Which is an excellent movie. I find in Raising Cane’s doing that they create a relaxing and cool atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.
A man’s dream, hard work, and vision came to a reality with Raising Cane’s. Todd Graves was doubted and joked on for his vision and dream but preserved in the end. Todd Graves created a well-rounded place for food, friends, and comfort. A place where everyone could go and enjoy high quality chicken tenders, fries, and toast to die
