I pull into school and I see that no one is parked in my spot. Good, that’s the way things are supposed to be. As I get out of my car Luke comes over to walk with me into school. He’s done it ever since we started dating. Luke and I are the type of people that everybody is jealous of. Luke is the star quarterback on the football team, six foot two, and has a perfect smile that can melt any girls heart. I have all the friends I could possibly ever need, i’m captain of the cheerleading team, and I have long blonde hair that everybody envies. As I walk into school all of my friends swarm around me, and because it’s Friday, all of them have on their cheerleading uniforms. As they all are talking, I hear the latest gossip. Beth gained a pound after eating lunch at school, and Andrew was caught cheating on his English test. Again. But as I walk into science class Mr.Steven kills any idea of a good day. I don’t understand why he always insists on teaching. It’s Friday and Fridays should be fun. I have tried to convince him to not have class and to just make it a study hall. He never listens. Therefore, we are forced to listen to his lecture for forty minutes, but as I walk into class something is different. There aren’t any notes on the projector, instead there are pictures. Mr.Steven is even standing up in front of the class. Instead, he is sitting behind his desk looking tired and worn down. I’m not the only one to notice either. Instead of sauntering into class and then talking to classmates like usual everybody just sits down, confused. I myself am confused. Usually, Mr.Smith is at the front of the class and starts lecturing as soon as the bell
