If I found a wallet. I would make my own efforts to find the owner, because if I lose my wallet I would like to receive the same action of kindness. Most of the time a wallet carried important documents, such as; cash, credit cards, forms of identifications with current address, emergency contact information. Those information could affect the person life forever if that personal information get in the wrong hands. The problems with losing the wallet are; someone can an open a bank account, this could end up in a big impact financially. Also get medical attention, file a fraudulent tax refund, commit crimes, and steal your benefits. I personally heard from others person that a friend end up with thousands of dollar in debt because
In 1776, David McCullough gives a vivid portrayal of the Continental Army from October 1775 through January 1777, with sharp focus on the leadership of America’s greatest hero, George Washington. McCullough’s thesis is that had not the right man (George Washington) been leading the Continental Army in 1776, the American Revolution would have resulted in a vastly different outcome. He supports his argument with a critical analysis of Washington’s leadership during the period from the Siege of Boston, through the disastrous defense of New York City, the desperate yet, well ordered retreat through New Jersey against overwhelming odds, and concludes with the inspiring victories of Trenton and Princeton. By keeping his army intact and persevering through 1776, Washington demonstrated to the British Army that the Continental Army was not simply a gang of rabble, but a viable fighting force. Additionally, Mr. McCullough supports his premise that the key to the survival of the American Revolution was not in the defense of Boston, New York City, or any other vital terrain, but rather the survival of the Continental Army itself. A masterful piece of history, 1776 is not a dry retelling of the Revolutionary War, but a compelling character study of George Washington, as well as his key lieutenants, and his British adversaries, the most powerful Army in the 18th Century world. When I read this book, I went from a casual understanding of the hero George Washington to a more specific understanding of why Washington was quite literally the exact right man at the exact right place and time to enable the birth of the United States.

I felt guilty for throwing away items that were in such good condition, because I know some people would give the world in order to be able to own the stuff I have. The economy has gotten so bad, that it’s almost impossible for somebody to find a job that pays more than simple minimum wage to support themselves, along with a family. My heart aches for people who have to live this way, and I give a lot of respect to the people who can actually do

Reading the story “On dumpster diving” by Lars Eighner it made me feel grateful for my materialistic things, because I would not want to experience dumpster diving to survive. Eighner has led me to question where I place my value. He has made me curious about what treasures could be found in dumpsters. Most of these items have lost their intrinsic value; however, they could hold great personal value. A can of food could mean a meal for someone in need. It has also made me wonder about what I throw away, and if someone has ever discovered what I’ve thrown away and used
Anyone who had something of great value stolen from him would try to get it back. Even if that person had to go to high risks to reclaim what was theirs. In the book The Hobbit, a hobbit named Bilbo Baggins, a wizard named Gandalf, and thirteen dwarves have to get back their lost treasure that a character named Smaug stole. To reclaim their treasure they have to travel a long distance to the Lonely Mountain where Smaug is hiding . Throughout their journey they encounter many life-hindering experiences. Dangers and obstacles pop up everywhere. The reason why this group goes to such great lengths to get their treasure is because of one reason, which is their motivation of lust.
Owning bitcoins can be directly related to having a bitcoin address and an specific digit which controls the bitcoins known as a key. Most if not all bitcoin addresses are accompanied with the private key to make the bitcoins available for controlling. In order to protect your bitcoins you must secure the private code that correlates to its control. If the key is lost or accidentally changes possession to another person that knows the code, the bitcoins can be lost for good without ever being replaced.

Faith is the driving force of life. Without faith, achieving anything is practically impossible. In Philip K Dick’s novel Ubik, the voice is convincing in terms of emotional power and in creating a deteriorating atmosphere of slow burning devotion. The narrator, Joe Chip faces several challenges where he has to follow the steps to figure out why the world is crumbling and exactly what it is that is still keeping him alive. Philip Dick constructs an incredible novel with the intentions of making ‘Ubik’ the savior of mankind. There can be no mistake that Philip K Dick is using Ubik as a metaphor for god. It establishes a sense of guide which may create a path to a new beginning.
In the year 1996, through a report by the Surgeon General, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) created a report called At-A-Glance, that contains information regarding the benefits that physical activity has when regarding health issues that face people as well as how said physical activity impacts their life in a positive way. The report combines different information gathered over the years that includes information regarding demographics as well as information regarding how frequency and intensity affect the impact that physical activity has. The Center or Disease Control states that “This report brings together, for the first time, what has been learned about physical activity and health from decades of research.”

One’s personal possessions usually have value to them because they are something that a person can truly claim as his or her own. The most desirable and most valuable possession would naturally be love. With love some, but not all, desire material possessions. Last, everyone desires security to complete the last piece of the puzzle.

A wallet, or purse for some, is a precious item in which most people carry things more essential than money towards everyday life. If some people were to lose that portable safe, they may be offset for the rest of that day. The person without that wallet could be upset and depressed for awhile. Maybe something of great special value was in that wallet. This person could have these feelings for a long time, until they find their belongings by which case they are filled with joy. I, personally, keep anything I may have interest in knowing where it is, in my wallet. I am very good about always having my wallet and never losing it...until recently.
