Myers Briggs type indicator(MBTI) It is a study based on Jungian theory of personality that classifies individuals along 4 theoretically independent dimensions and sorts people into 16 different personality types to identify a person’s psychological type in how people perceive the world and make decisions. Also helps you to understand yourself. As I had a psychometric questionnaire I had an ESTP personality as a result, my primary mode of living is focused externally, where I take things in via my five senses in a literal, concrete fashion. My secondary mode is internal, where I deal with things rationally and logically. ESTP is referred to (Extrovert) where I orient toward the outer world and focus on people and objects. For example, I love Highly observant I I have some traits which are unique on my personality type. I have excellent memory to save details. I’m interacting with people, because I have excellent people skills. I like to meet new people and I’m very flexible with new things. When I have problem, I quickly device a solution, In emergency situation, I have ability to react quickly. I’m very energetic, ang I have highly observant with people and other thing. • ESTP What does Success mean to an ESTP? The ESTP will be happiest and most productive in a challenging role that can offer them change, variety, flexibility and action. ESTPS become stifled if put in a box and the organisation will get the best out of them if they can use their practical, problem-solving strengths in a crisis. Personality is the individual differences in characteristic patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving. To me, personality means uniqueness. It is what sets us all apart from one another. Personality psychologist has coined five different traits into the Big Five. It consists of extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism, and openness to experience. Extraverts are people who are relatively sociable and outgoing while on the opposite end individuals who are introverts are people who would much rather enjoy the company of close friends and family. The Myers and Briggs Analysis is a series of questions that when answered are examined and grouped together in order to determine the personalities of those taking this test. This particular test can result in sixteen different outcomes or types of personalities, which is determined by four different categories that judge if you are introverted or extroverted, use your senses or your intuition, your choice to think or use your feelings, and finally if you are judgmental or perceptive. These series of questions are designed to judge our personalities and help us to determine which career pathways we will be most suited for based on our personality traits and abilities to work well with others, which is important for our future decisions.
Three aspects of my personality are avoidant, high on conscientiousness and a high need for achievement. These personality characteristics were studied using different theories, the attachment theory, Big Five, and the motivational theory. Together, these aspects make me who I am. I am someone who is driven, hard working, disciplined, and has a hard time trusting and letting other people into my personal life. The information I found in this study complimented the conclusion of the other article I reviewed. They both concluded that the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator had many faults and was not reliable nor valid as far as solid science is concerned.

Based on scoring, ESTJ was my recommendation on the personality tests. ESTJ is the acronym for Extraverted, Sensing, Thinking, and Judging. The ESTJ is an individual with Extraverted Thinking with Introverted Sensing.
As an ESTJ or any other type for that matter, one must understand what each of their four personality types are and how they fit with each other. David Keirsey expounds on the personality types described by Jung and Myers-Briggs to theorize on the temperaments associated with each of the 16 personality types. This theorization assists us in understanding how our types work together and describe who each of the types are. The temperaments are categorized by two letters that associate them with one of the 16 personality types. The “SJ” temperament is the one that is associated with an ESTJ. The S and J stand for sensing and judging. Keirsey describes “SJ’s” as security seeking and labels them as “The Guardian”. Much of Jung’s work, controversial as it was, is still in use or extended upon to some degree today. Katherine Briggs and her daughter Isabel Briggs Myers developed the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator based on Jung’s categorization of the psyche. Through taking this test, one can be identified as being one out of sixteen different categories such as ENFJ (extroverted feeling with intuiting) or ISTJ (introverted sensing with thinking). Jung’s Word Association test is also in wide use in the psychiatric field today.
Extroverted people are more socially oriented. ESFP personalities are also sensory based; remembering events as snapshots with a tendency to be pragmatic. (Martin, 1997) They are often in-tune with their feelings which can lead them to be empathetic and tactful communicators, but struggle with addressing conflict. According to The Myers and Briggs Foundation, their perceiving aspect can cause them to work in “bursts of energy”, bringing a playful aspect to work, but can cause them to be indecisive when it is most needed.
Extrovert and Introvert and Judgment and Perception seem interchangeable to my personality and may be viewed as unerringly the two sides of one coin for me. The test declared me the "Persuader" type and elaborated that the ENFJ type is an outstanding leader of groups and may be aggressive at helping others be the best that they can be. It also states that this personality type is 2.5% of the total population. I find this to be poignantly true. Whenever I find myself butting heads with those close to me, or those I have taken special interest in helping, it is because of this "aggressiveness" or passion that others misconstrue as me trying to "run their lives". This can be quiet frustrating because my "aggressiveness" comes from an altruistic place of wanting to help and not from a need to control.
ENFP also known as the campaigner is my personality type (16 personalities). I never realized what my personality type was until after finally doing this paper. It was a very eye opening assignment and made me realize and understand my personality type so much more. It’s exciting to know how I work. It amazes me at how I represent the ENFP exactly how it’s described, it’s crazy. I feel like I can better myself now, knowing that that’s just normal or my personality type. Before I would question myself on why I could never focus on just one task at a time, I would always want to explore more before I was finished. Now that I know that’s normal, I can work on improving myself. The campaigner represents a true free spirit.
I am an intuitive-feeling personality. I am charismatic, participative and very people oriented. I tend to focus on the big picture and not the small specifics. I am not power hungry and try to be helpful and giving to those around me.
According to the Keirsey temperament sorter assessment, the temperament type that fits my personality is ESTJ (Extroversion, Sensing, Thinking, Judging) (Keirsey & Bates, 1984).
