Background
CE 3.2
This career episode is about the project on HVAC Instrumentation and Controls Installation. I was assigned the project to oversee new projects for an HVAC construction company. I was responsible for assessing the site of a new HVAC installation or renovation project and putting together a bid for his or her employer. This project is completed by following various steps like Managing and monitoring project budgets, costs and expenditures.
CE 3.2.1
This project includes control equipment for HVAC systems and components, including control components for terminal heating and cooling units not supplied with factory-wired controls. I was involved in managing all project details of assigned projects to include, but not limited to, staffing, materials, scheduling,

CE 3.2.3
My work is rarely a job acquired directly out of school. Rather, most entering project managers have some combination of both technical education and hands-on HVAC work. I used to Oversee and used to manage all project details of assigned projects to include, but not limited to, staffing, materials, scheduling, projections and related areas.
CE 3.2.4
Major areas of my responsibilities were as follows:
I was also responsible for Coordinate staffing levels with crew management/leaders
Coordinate with general contractor and/or other sub-contractor schedules Preparing a report.
Participate in the turnover process
Review projects and billing forecast reports
Utilize a variety of standard office and specialized project planning, scheduling & related software
Einhorn Yaffee Prescott (EYP) integrates quality assurance planning and quality control reviews into a single, pervasive professional culture of Quality Management. Documented in detail in the EYP Quality Management Plan, our procedures recognize that for every project our clients have a unique blend of objec¬tives—and un¬derstanding those objectives is critical to successful project delivery. EYP’s inter¬nal QC proce¬dures, therefore, begin in the planning stage of each project. In summary: (a) We work with the client to ensure a common understanding of the project scope. (b) We review each as¬signment to identify the specific QC challenges it presents (e.g., challenges associated with identifying all salient architectural and structural aspects of historically significant buildings, so that we can develop energy efficiency solutions that are effective while not requiring disruptive alterations). Our goal is to plan for the appropriate levels of re¬view to prevent costly, time-consuming errors during project performance and to ensure that all services ad¬here to the client’s technical requirements and constraints. (c) We next develop a project-specific QC plan, that identifies specific procedures and protocols to meet the project’s QC requirements and assigns team members responsibilities for implementing them. (d) We assign EYP manag¬ers and staff with the appropriate blend of functional skills and substantive know¬ledge of the project.
I learned the value of work by working hard. (Brainyquote). This is a quote stated by “Margaret Mead” when one finds the meaning of work. Being an HVAC Technician one will repair furnaces and AC. HVAC Technicians deal with a lot of dangerous tools and equipment. One will need problem solving skills and patients to be an HVAC Technicians. Becoming an HVAC Technicians is a solid career choice that allows one to have high earning potential, easy employment opportunities, and is personally fulfilling.
A solid project definition was given. It is here that purpose was of this project was given. The purpose of this project is to move Trillo Apparel Company District 4 Production warehouse move to a larger facility. This move to a larger facility is needed to expand the production of the business to create revenue. WFPM’s role in this process is to ensure this new facility is safe, productive, and

In this assignment, a practicing engineer that has experience in working in project management was interviewed. The purpose of the interview is to increase my understanding of what engineers do at the workplace and to educate future engineers on how to become successful in their fields.

If you need to place items in a self storage unit, protecting and preserving those items is important. But you don't want to waste money on a unit that's more expensive than you need. Consider these advantages of a climate controlled unit, so that you can decide if going that route best fits your situation.
Humanity is threatened by the overwhelming growth of science and technology. People are expanding their knowledge through observation and experiment, oblivious to the consequences that result from improper motive. Isaac Asimov—author of The Life and Times of Multivac—uses the science of numbers, or mathematics, as a solution to the fear that arises in a world controlled by a human-like machine. What human beings are afraid of is losing the very word that separates them from everything else in the world—human, and they will do whatever they can to keep that title to themselves.
Project management is a discipline based on careful planning, organization, motivation and control of resources to achieve specific goals and meet specific success criteria. Since every project is unique in nature, a project manager must learn to adapt and identify key areas to drive success. Thus, as a learning initiative, we were given a project to manage through a simulation program named Sim4Project. The emphasis of this simulation was on learning-by-doing, just like in a real-life project. Sim4Project provided a good mix of theoretical knowledge as well as hands-on experience. Professor Leonie gave feedbacks at the end of each period to ensure we were incorporating the project management principles learned in the classroom.
I have completed Bsc (Hons) Construction management at the University of West London, and I would now like to further my career by studying MSC Project enterprise and management at UCL. I have made this decision after understanding that this course will enable me to develop a broad understating of construction management of large and complex projects and increase my commercial awareness of these projects. I also expect this course to be taught with both academic rigour and place consistent emphasis on practical application of what I learn to construction environment. After working in construction for industry for almost 2 years, and studying a bachelor’s degree I feel I am more than capable of completing Msc Project Entriprise with success as I have already experienced the rigors & dynamics of university education.
Among the Subcontractors: Trautman & Shreve (mechanical), Denver; Weifield Group (electrical), Denver; Rocky Mountain Prestress (precast concrete), Denver; JR Butler (glazing), Denver; OfficeScapes (modular furniture), Denver; Paxton & Vierling Steel (steel fabricator), Carter Lake, Iowa; Architectural Energy Corp. (LEED, daylighting and commissioning consultant), Boulder, Colo.; Technology Plus (IT and AV consultant), Aurora, Colo.
I have also been able to understand the responsibility of a project manager in bringing the people from different functional areas with specific skills to meet the project goals and objectives within the desired time. Even though, a project manager doesn’t have HR authority unless the project manager is a functional manger or in a projectized organization.
In the globalized economy, Successful project managers are in much demand across many industries. Organizations strongly need experienced project managers to lead their staff to accomplish their business goals and deliver successful projects. In an increasingly complex environment, project managers need to turn into many roles and have all kinds of responsibilities at each level of management within an organization. Good project managers are not born. They need to be trained. They develop their skills through study, practise and experience. They become better project managers after they finish a successful project each time. They learn new techniques and apply them on their projects. They learn their lessons from failed projects and then improve to be better project managers in the future.
Average hours and pay characterize these environments, but education continues apace. Few people leave the profession during these years; the hours already devoted in school make it easier to tolerate these few extra workplace indignities. And in about five years one will be leading research teams and turn into people managers as well as project managers. This is an unanticipated turn of events for some, as it removes them from the challenging, intellectually rarefied environment they enjoy and places them in a more administrative role. Most significant design and production work is done in these years.
I am committed to developing my professional skills to allow me to work to the fullest of my potential, and as a consequence I am highly motivated to study for an MSc in Project Management. I believe that it is essential for project managers to be equipped with the skills that are necessary to allow ambitious projects to be completed on budget, on time, and according to their original specifications, and I believe that completing this master’s is the best way to acquire those skills.
