My article of choice is “On pins and needles defending artistic expression” this article was posted on boston.com on April 8, 2010, written by Carol Rose. Carol Rose is a really busy woman, graduating from Stanford University and Harvard Law school, Carol is the executive director of the ACLU of Massachusetts, starting in January 2003, an attorney specializing in First Amendment and media law, intellectual property, civil rights, and international human rights law , and a journalist. “Carol has spent her career advocating for human rights and civil liberties both in the United States and abroad, including Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nepal, Japan, Sri Lanka, Israel, the West Bank and Gaza, Northern Ireland, and Vietnam”. You paint with paint brushes and a canvas, you take photographs with a camera and film, and you tattoo on an individual's skin, they are all forms of art. So why should we as people be able to express our artistic fews legally where we want to. I feel that since tattoos are a form or art and have been for many years then all forms of art should be illegal then too. But thats not going to happen. I personally feel that the argument Carol Rose is arguing is an effective argument. I personally have tattoos and every one of this is something different, they are all something deer to me and I use my body art to express that love.
