Cameroon
Imagine beaches, mountains, beautiful stone buildings and a refreshing and relaxingly cool climate. These are all descriptions of Cameroon, the gem of central Africa. Cameroon occupies about 180,000 square meters of land, and has approximately 20,000,000 people called Cameroonians. The capital city, Yaoundé, is the largest city in the country. Cameroonians speak English and French, there are also about twenty-seven other tribal languages (Edman, 2014).
Physical characteristics
Cameroon is sometimes described as "Africa in miniature" because it has all of the major climates and vegetation of Africa: mountains, desert, rain forest, savanna grassland, and ocean coastland. Their natural resources include oil, timber, hydroelectric power, natural gas, cobalt, nickel. It has a tropical climate that would be great for beaches, but since it is in central Africa, it has none (Our-Africa Climate and Agriculture).
Economy
On the plateau land of the south, coffee, sugar and tobacco are important cash crops. On the coast, the climate is great for the growing of export crops like as cocoa, bananas, palm oil, rubber and tea. Cameroon is one of the top five producers of cocoa. Cocoa beans are the country’s highest agricultural export. Cotton and bananas are the next highest exports (Simoes, 2009). Foods grown for the domestic market include maize and bananas. Cassava, beans, sorghum and vegetables are also common crops, as is taro, a tropical plant grown as a root vegetable. Their leaves are eaten, too. The climate in the north is great for crops like cotton, peanuts, groundnuts and rice. In areas too dry for planting, farmers have livestock. In the west, potatoes are an important crop. These were brought by European settlers in the 19th...

...you could not miss it when you hear any one of them. There is not a lot of traditional art in Cameroon (Biggins, 2014).
Cameroon is not a country that is very serious about sports, but they have trophies in sports like hockey, tennis, golf, cricket, soccer, rugby, basketball, baseball, and football (Maps of the World: Cameroon Sports).
Conclusion
The biggest and most beautiful tourist attraction in Cameroon is Mt. Cameroon, which is the biggest mountain in West Africa. It is also an active volcano. Overall, Cameroon is just a magnificent country to visit if you want to see all of Africa in one country. Obviously, you would not be able to see sights like the beautiful pyramids of Egypt, or even the amazing wildlife of Tanzania or Kenya, but you would be able to see many cultural aspects of all of these countries in just one location, the great republic of Cameroon.
Not only is it ridiculously hot year round, but Africa has vast wildlife. One great example is an occurrence where John and thousands of refugees were trapped on the banks of the Gilo River. They had Ethiopian soldiers on one side and a crocodile filled river on the other. As John started to hear grenades being launched, he saw many soldiers and vehicles. He had no choice but to jump into the river, face the vicious crocodiles, and “attempt” to swim ten minutes without having the physical skills to do so.
98.8% of the population is made up of ethnic Somalis (Kraus). Other minority groups include Arabs, Indians, Italians, and Pakistanis. Most Somalis are nomadic or semi nomadic herders of livestock. The rest are either crop farmers or inhabitants of the few urban centers. The official languages of the country are Somali and Arabic and the state religion is Islam (“Somalian People”).

The broad range of topographical elevations has encouraged agricultural expansion whose diverse production of food constitutes an important part of the Colombian economy. The agricultural sector contributed 14% of GDP, excluding coffee, with a production worth almost 11 billion US. In the hot lowlands of the Caribbean heartland, the inter-montages valleys, and the savannas of Orinoquia, there are immense plantations of bananas, sugar cane, rice, cotton, soybeans and sorghum, and large cattle farms that produce meat and dairy products. Africa is the world’s poorest inhabited continent, with more than one third of its residents living on less than a comparative US dollar per day. Africa is often stereotyped as poor, overpopulated, and uncivilized. Africa is commonly interpreted as one united land mass rather than multiple independent nations. Africa’s limited use of technology, agriculture and market based economy, and independent self-governing prior to independence have made gathering data on the continent difficult. Africa as a whole has little data collected about its past and as a result many studies conducted and published refer to the continent as a whole rather than referring to individual nations.
Rwanda, a little territory residing in east-central Africa, resembles close to the size of Maryland. Many believe that the Kingdom of Rwanda was founded by European explorers in 1854. It was occupied by Belgian troops during World War I. On January 28, 1961 it became known as Rwandan Republic. On July 1, 1962 they established their independence from Belgium and then on June 4, 2003 it became known as the Republic of Rwanda. Rwanda has come a long way since its founding. Now one of the largest regions in Africa as far as population and economic growth, Rwanda continues to grow. Though some say that the poverty level remains much more than any other region, it is still a place I want to visit.
Chad is one of the poorest countries on the African continent. Chad's economy is mostly agricultural and eighty percent of Chad's population relies on subsistence farming and livestock rising as their livelihood, cotton farming, growing sorghum, millet, groundnuts, vegetables, and fruits (Azevedo, Graham, and Nnadozie, 1997). The other twenty percent of Chad's population works in the services industry such as, manufacturing, services, and the military.
Now we all know that Africa is some of the most fertile, lush land in the world. Africa abounds with game and almost any type of fruit and berries imaginable. The actual deserts in Africa are quite small, and those images of starving African Negroes you see on your TV is only a very tiny portion of Africa's vast abundance. Any geography professor will tell you this, and they will tell you it has been like this for millennia.
Ethiopia is located in the Eastern region of Africa. According to the Embassy of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Ethiopia lies between the geographical coordinates of 3’ and 14. 8’ latitude and 33’and 48’ longitude. Ethiopia encompasses a majority of the area known as the Horn of Africa. The CIA World Factbook states that Ethiopia is approximately 1,104,300 square kilometers (686,180 miles). To give a better perspective of the sheer size of this country, it is about twice the size of the state of Texas. The CIA World Factbook also states that Ethiopia’s area ranks 27th when compared to the area size of all other countries in the world.
Africa is the world's second-largest and second-most-populous continent. At about 30.2 million km² including adjacent islands, it covers six percent of the Earth's total surface area and 20.4 percent of the total land area, Egypt is a country in northeastern Africa. There are many interesting facts about Egypt like The Natural World, History, Culture, Geography, and Economy.
Cameroon’s crest (Appendix B), Anthem (Appendix C), and motto (Appendix D) all emphasis work, peace, and the love of the land. The colors of the Cameroonian flag (Appendix A) represent the pan African spirit. Today, Cameroon’s population is pretty evenly divided between rural and urban areas. The most densely populated parts of Cameroon, however, are some of the major cities such...
Ethiopia an African country officially known as the Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, and famously know as one of the oldest location of human life to scientists. Ethiopia is located in the horn of Africa (east of Africa). It is argued that Ethiopia was the only African country to defeat a European colonial power and retain its sovereignty as an independent country. It is argued that Ethiopia was conquered by Italy in 1935 and regained its independence in 1941 on the 5th of May and the ruler of that era was Halie Selassi. Ethiopia’s major economic contributor is the agriculture sector with a 46% of gross domestic product and a labour force of 85% by agriculture (Ethiopia’s gross domestic product by sector). Ethiopia is a federal republic state this means that there is no monarch and that the state exercise democra...
It is also has some extremely large cities, it is hard to believe that all this started with a albeit very advanced but secluded civilization in a little patch of life stemmed from the Nile and ( as this has most likely been nailed permanently into your mind) the Nile river, the longest river in Africa and the second longest river in the world only 87 miles behind the Amazon which is 4,345 Miles long ( can not belive I forgot to mention that until now) but yes the Nile is 4,258 miles long which is 1,338 miles longer than the second longest river in Africa the Congo which is 2,920 miles
