My personal experience was when I went to California for the first time. It was one of the best, most fun trips I have ever experienced in my life. I am going to tell you why this trip was one of my amazing experiences throughout my lifetime. To begin with, to drive from Phoenix to California, that would be about a 5 hour drive and I thought it would be shorter but I was clearly wrong. I went with my step dad named Travis, Mom, older sister, and younger sister. The whole time in the car was so boring cause I had nothing to do but look out the windows. I had a tablet to play on which I did, but It died when we barely drove for 2 hours. The rest of the time I tried asking my mother for her phone, but she said it was going to die but I just kept asking her. Then she finally gave it to me and it …show more content…
The next morning we awoke early to go to Sea World and I was super excited because it was going to be my first time! Once we were ready we were on our way,but we stopped to get breakfast first. Once we arrived there, we had to get our passes to go in, it did take a while though. They gave us a map and I told Travis we had to go on a ride first because I saw this one that I wanted to try. So we started walking towards the ride and the closer we inched the more scared I was. I was scared cause I heard people screaming which made me freak. We were on the ride and I was pretty lucky cause I barely was tall enough, so I was relieved. We got on the ride and my heart started to beat faster, than there was a countdown and, we went off. That whole time I was screaming and panicking and was so afraid. When we came off the ride I was so scared but the picture made me laugh so hard. You can tell just from the photo I was afraid. So once we payed for the picture we went to go see some shows and animals and it was really cool because I have never seen a shamu before and it was just
When I was about 10 years old, my mom took me to a roller coaster theme park in Massachusetts. I was terribly afraid of the huge roller coaster that appeared in front of me, and while I waited in line, the anxiety of waiting to die in a roller coaster made my heart beat through my chest. The huge coaster went up and down and up and down, and even though my mom continuously asked me if I was sure that I wanted to go, I repeatedly said yes. I wanted to make it clear that I was a man, not a crying baby. Stepping onto that roller coaster was what I remember the most.
After we relaxed for a long time, it was time for me to go and wash off all of the seaweed my hair had collected. I turn on the shower and there is a huge spider waiting for me just sitting there waiting for me. I killed it and then resumed my shower. After I got out and we were all ready leave we didn’t know where to go. Until my sister saw a commercial for this really cool place with alligators and a Ferris wheel, we decided to go there. As we pulled up to the place we noticed that there was an amazing Ferris wheel and I immediately got really excited. But my parents said that I have to wait until after dinner. So we went and ate our amazing dinner and it was so amazing. I ordered the best lobster and crab, it was so
In 2009, my parents and I decided to travel to San Antonio, Texas for vacation. My parents and I have traveled there before, but we enjoyed it so much that we decided to go back. With many places to see and do; my parents thought that we should go to Six Flags Fiesta Texas. It was at this theme park, where something happened that I would never forget.
Before you begin reading the main narrative of my essay, I want to let you in on some details about my life and myself. I was born in Manhattan, New York and when I was about twenty two days old, I boarded a plane with my parents on a journey across the United States to the city of San Francisco, then to the town of Grass Valley. This is where my grandmother and grandfather resided. They had been telling my parents that the city of Manhattan was no place to raise a child and that we should move to California and live with them. Before making this life changing decision of leaving most of their friends and loved ones in New York to come to California, my parents sent me off to live in India with my uncle. Keep in mind, I was about the age of two when this all happened. The opportunity of leaving me with my uncle gave my parents about a year to think things over and pull themselves together, in efforts to properly raise a child in a country that was so
As soon as they picked me up, we headed right to Hershey. On the way, we talked about the rides and what we were going to do. We were arguing about what was going to be our first ride that day. It took about half an hour, but we made
Out of all the trips I have taken, Cancun was definitely the best. It was 2013 and I was in fifth grade. I had known about the trip for weeks and I was so amped up for the plane ride, for the hotel, and especially the ocean. I was in science and the teacher was getting mad because I was distracting all the kids by jittering all over the place. Finally I heard my name called over the intercom and I leaped for joy and ran out of the classroom. From school we drove to the Iowa Airport, got our tickets and loaded onto the plane. Our first plane took us to Chicago, Illinois where we boarded a plane , at the O’Hare International Airport, departing for Cancun,Mexico. The second plane was very lengthy, I tried to sleep but I didn’t actually fall asleep
I took a trip to Colorado In July of 2015 it was the best week of my life. The best part of that week was the day that I got to spend in rocky mountain national park. It was a great experience with beautiful scenery and wildlife everywhere you looked. This trip changed everything I thought about where I wanted to go and what I wanted to do when I am finished with my schooling.
California, just like the rest of the states of this country is unique. The large populated country known as California has history, an economy and other things that make California the special country that it is today.
I was sitting in a basement that smelled bad and was stuffy, I needed to get out of there. I was with my friend who liked to ride bikes. So, we decided to ride bikes. Outside we only had 1 normal bike, the other was an old bike with a banana seat on it. I lost a coin toss so I had to ride the trashy bike that had trouble even going straight. There was a trail down at the park where we would ride the bikes. We thought we would go there first and then go climb on playground after. At the very beginning of the trail there’s this difficult hill that goes pretty fast and shoots you right at a left turn. If you didn’t slow down and turn fast enough you would crash.
My most memorable trip of my life was when I first moved to the United States in 2008. I was eight years old when I moved from the small city of HaIfa in Israel to the big bay area. Israel can fit into just California about 20 times! I moved here wIth my mom ,dad ,older brother ,and younger sIster. There were many big obstacles and trips my famIly knew we had to take in order to feel more comfortable and at home here In the United States.
They call California the Golden State. This is the state that your wildest dreams can come true. Coming from Iowa this is exactly what I was hoping to come and find out. All I have wanted to do since I was in junior high was to come out to California and live my dream. Now being here, experiencing what California is really about; I now know what everyone was talking about. I can come out here and be a totally new person. I can reinvent myself into whatever I want. I can be nice, mean, funny, depressed, or I could even change my name and be a completely different person. Along with this, the dreams and weather have brought me to the best state in the United States, California.
I know it was just a ride in a park, but I always think about day when I'm feeling too scared to try something new. I remember what it felt like to fly down that big blue slide. I realize that I might be quiet, even invisible, but hidden inside me is a brave heart.
This was a new experience for me, I had never been on a water slide before. We had to walk up so many steps to get to the top. It was very high up, I am afraid of heights and just the walking up itself made me feel butterflies. My Mom and my friends were all encouraging me saying things like "You can do it Logan." "It will be a total blast.
The whole drive there I was just wondering what I was going to do and see over there. I mean I thought I thought I was excited about my plane ride there, but that wasn?t even half of what I was feeling at that time. Once I saw the roller coasters as we drove to Universal?s Island of Adventure my face just lit up like the sun.
I was able to spend a lot of time with my family, our friends, and play all sorts of games. This experience made me start to like traveling. Every time I would get the chance to travel, I will take that chance. We were able to go to a theme park, eat many delicious foods, and play many video
