This is a true statement about dogs and the love they show. Buck in the book The Call of the Wild and White Fang in the book White Fang both by Jack London, leave us feeling like dogs are the most important things ever. In the beginning, Buck and White Fang are reciprocal but also diverse. First, Buck and White Fang are both half breeds. For example, Buck is half Saint Bernard from his father, and half Scotch Shephard from his mother. White Fang is half husky from his father, and half wolf from his mother. Since they are both half-breeds, they are similar. Second, both dogs are both strong and ingenious. First, Buck got had a hard time and was treated very poorly. Buck was beaten and pushed around. White Fang also had this problem. Since Buck and White Fang had a hard time in the middle of the book, this is a similarity. Second, Buck was bought and sold many times unlike White Fang, who was only bought three times. Buck was bought by Perrault and Francois while White Fang was bought, or captured, by an indian tribe leader, Gray Beaver. Since buck and white Fang were gone from their proper place, this is a similarity. Lastly, Buck and White Fang both have lived in a cold place but White Fang was more used to the cold weather. For instance, Buck was born in a warm place in California, so it was hard for his soft feet to get used to the frigid, harsh snow.
