As I sat in the car nervous as always I thought to myself “today's the day today you become a boy scout. Finally my dad broke the silence and said “you excited” I replied “yeah” after awhile of driving we arrived at the place where the ceremony was happening. I felt extremely anxious I kept trying to calm myself down but it did not work. After a while I calmed down and they eventually served us food it was great.and the we did skits and songs it was basically a huge party with skits, singing, and, dancing. after that they called us up by patrol which is a group of people also there were three different patrols so it took a little bit to get to me and they finally got to me, I felt so nervous, but at the same time proud of myself.i walked up to

Throughout the world, there are many artifacts ranging from Literature, Music, Social Media, Fashion, Toys, Technology, and many other ones. Every single one of these artifacts has a special meaning to them such as, the Statue of Liberty which represents freedom. The National Museum and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum both contain many different types of artifacts that represent our history, as well as sharing a special meaning that can affect a person individually or even shape our society. School was coming to an end and I thought about how Scout’s teacher didn't want her to read. I couldn't stop reading I enjoyed it too much and so did scout, I wondered if I would have reacted the same way scout did. One day after coming home from school, I saw scout with a Big stash of gum. After she told me how she got it, I started thinking the worst since I am her older Brother. I knew to scout was stubborn and wasn't going to get rid of it so I threaten her by telling her that I would tell Cal which is a fight scout wasn't up to fight. Why would there be gum in a tree and why was it out of all places in the Radley tree? We waited until what was forever for school to be over and for Dill to come. After all Dill had become a close friend
I knew it would happen. As much as I tried to stay optimistic, to put off my feelings of suspicion to an old man's negativity, I knew that this case would cost me something more than just my reputation in the town and that didn't even really matter. In Maycomb, reputation is a day by day concept. Sure, we have more than enough of our fair share of immovable gossipers, and drama kings and queens looking for a story to spread. But in everyone's own mind, if you did something stupid, immoral, or just mildly humorous or entertaining, it was the talk of the town and you were judged terribly for a few days, a few weeks tops. Then the whispers, and glances faded to conversations over coffee, and deep inside jokes. My reputation didn't bother me one bit.
“Fine by me, anything to get away from you and that popcorn!” Charlie screamed back to her.
Imagine waking up on a normal day, in your normal house, in your normal room. Imagine if you knew that that day, you would be taken away from your normal life, and forced to a life of death, sickness, and violence. Imagine seeing your parents taken away from you. Imagine watching your family walk into their certain death. Imagine being a survivor. Just think of the nightmares that linger in your mind. You are stuck with emotional pain gnawing at your sanity. These scenerios are just some of the horrific things that went on between 1933-1945, the time of the Holocaust. This tragic and terrifying event has been written about many times. However, this is about one particularly fascinating story called The Boy in the Striped Pajamas by John Boyne.
I’ve known this day was coming for months. Yet, I’ve no idea how to feel about it. The late Mrs. Ewell was my best friend when we were young. Close as two can be, Elizabeth and I were. That doesn’t hide the fact that Thomas’s practically raised me. Mrs. robinson was a kid herself when she had Tom, but she raised him well from her practice from me. Memories of both women flooded my mind. Someone in the back of my head murmurs about right wounds and left hands, I think nothing of it. I glance at Atticus and my focus shifts. He has been there since before I can remember. Neighbors when we were younglings, friends also. He is four years my senior, so being an only child made me think of him as a brother. Ever since we were little I have trusted him. He’s always been stable to me and I had a gut feeling he was always right. My suspicions were confirmed when he disapproved of my husband, who evidently ran away with some babe of twenty-two and my mother’s gold
There have been habitually commonly when I demonstrated mettle however this is truly the time when it's my heart the most. Many have said to me when did you indicate valor. I am going to advise you I was sullen, yet I pushed through and after that revealed to myself that everything occurs for which a reason. Crying about not going to improve me feel. So I said to myself, it will be better and she won't be in wretchedness and that's only the tip of the iceberg. I knew she was in torment and there was very little time left. You could see it in her face that she simply continued pushing through it. My auntie was a man that never abandoned anything. This was extreme for me, however I can likewise have a couple of different circumstances, which I indicated mettle, yet this was the point at which it implied the most to me. I have still not gotten over her, but rather a great many people never get over a man ignoring, yet others get over it path quicker than numerous other I am one of those individuals
As I started, I read the first prayer and thought about how I had come so far from practice to perfection. When I got to my torah portion, I was accompanied by an old man that was supposed to help me and make sure I was on the right line of hebrew. I held my yard, it was silver with ornate cutouts and had tiny bells hanging from it. For the second part, I used a green one with crystal grapes on it, that my sister insisted I use. When I finished the last prayer I was relieved, I did it yay. All of my family congratulated me and I was so happy, knowing my family was proud. I felt like I deserved five Oscars for my performance. I also was excited knowing Jack Stein is a true
Well, well, well. If you’re reading this, it means you succumbed to falling down the rabbit hole
We went outside for our normal first day of school picture taking then went to the car with plenty of time to spare. I was a nervous wreck the whole entire time. My mom dropped me off, wished me luck, then I was on my own. I entered the gym with my chest held high. As I walked I saw my friends, I walked over and sat down they complimented me on my outfit as I did the same for them.
Has this ever happened to you? You meet someone unexpectedly having absolutely no clue about how much they would mean to you in the future and you ask yourself questions like: “How did the path of two strangers cross, how did it change and affect my life so much, and how did an accidental clash of two worlds be the most beautiful thing that could possibly ever happen to me?” Well, it happened to me. Yes, I am young and have watched many fairy tales and unrealistic films about romance. Maybe I even believe in them from time to time, so this might be just your typical memoir of girl meets boy, but I am going to tell you about how meeting a boy named Irvin drastically changed my life in numerous ways.
Again he responded politely and on my way I went. When I got to the high school everyone was taking pictures, laughing, and talking about how they were g... ... middle of paper ... ... ry service were beautiful. Everyone that spoke had something nice to say and somehow I found enough strength in my self to get up and read prayer that his parents had asked me to read.
Then, I heard everyone scream “Surprise!” I could not believe my eyes. There was decoration all over the living room, a cake on the table, music and a big bouquet of pink flowers. My eyes start tearing. I was delighted and humbled by how lucky I was to have such an amazing family. I ran up to my parents, my three brothers, and sisters in law and hugged all of them. We started singing and dancing I cannot forget those moments of my life. Then I realized time was running and that I still had to go to my cousin’s house to do my makeup. I rushed to her house leaving my family at home, so they could get ready, and we could later celebrate after the graduation. As, Sandra was putting on my makeup; I was thinking of how I was going to react when they called my name on the stage. I was smiling as I was thinking of the moment of my
