According to the personality profile test, I discovered that my results label my personality as a blue color. My best friend, Turner, after taking the test, also resulted with a blue personality color. We met during our junior year of high and our friendship spans over 4 years. We live on the same street and we share the same interests and hobbies. Our similar personalities play a key role in our friendship and how we communicate to each other. As the type of people with blue-type personalities, Turner and I share a common motivation to make our friends and family happy. This motivation serves as the main way of making ourselves happy. Often when we are preoccupied, Turner and I have no issue is leaving our personal tasks to help someone else or each other in any situation. This stems from our similar attitudes in treating others as we would like others to treat ourselves. At the same time, since our happiness comes from helping others, a gesture of repayment is never necessary. Although we both share the same personality type, many of our personality strengths and limitations conflict with one another. Turner, for example, can sometimes come across as bossy and demanding. These traits conflict with my over sensitive and emotional traits. This conflict can potentially to explosive arguments between us when we have opposing views. Furthermore, I am extremely opinionated and I always feel like I am right. This characteristic of mine also does not mesh well with how bossy and demanding Turner can be. Nonetheless, arguments between us rarely last long as we both are respectful and considerate of each other’s perspectives.
