For that variety of ways are used to raise the standard of education, so that later will produce students skilled, clever, and able to answer the challenges of the times better. One method used is blended learning, which is a mixture of traditional methods of online learning.
Education purpose in terms of education, this thesis is expected to be one of the considerations to choose blended learning that will be used or applied at the high school level. So that it can apply blended learning model in accordance with all aspects of learning.
1.2 MOTIVATION

(face-to-face method) with online learning. In addition, in its development, there is no standard that can be used as a reference. For that, I am interested to use this as a topic in completing this thesis. Working on this thesis is also a tool for me personally to deepen about blended learning and what is needed or what needs to be fulfilled in building blended-learning environment. In addition, I hope the future of this thesis can be used as one example in the development and application of blended learning at the high school level. 1.3 METHOD The discussion raised in this thesis is related to blended learning.
Where to combine face-to-face learning or traditional learning and online learning. The method used for its manufacture uses a skill-driven method. In this skill-driven method, learners still need to attend formal classes scheduled by the school. As for online learning, using a simple website. This website can be accessed by students, teachers, and administrators who are tasked to monitor the website. To be able to use this website, students need to create an account that contains the student's brief data. After that, subsequent access only needs to enter student ID and password that have been registered before. On the website, it will contain some material that can be used by students as a reference in learning. It also contains some tasks assigned by the teacher to be collected at the next meeting or emailed to the teaching
teacher. 1.4 PROBLEM STATEMENT The development of all aspects of life, both in terms of economy, politics, health, technology, and others, demands an increase in the quality of human resources capable of competing in these developments. Winning the academics are competing to create a good education system and can improve the quality of human resources. So many learning models are offered by various schools or universities, both formal and non-formal. These models are made to increase the level of curiosity of learners, but it also improves the quality of learning, so that later will improve the quality of learners. Blended learning, became one of the learning models offered by many places of education. Blended learning itself has several models that can be practiced. Here I propose blended learning with skill-driven models, which are more likely to be used locally with some limitations, and use hematology classes as examples of implementation objects. 1.5 CONCLUSION The use of blended learning for teaching and learning process that has been increasingly widespread, making it as one of the reasons for the discussion in this thesis. In addition, the blended learning model offered in this discussion uses a skill-driven model which has sufficient face-to-face and online-learning intensity, in addition to online learning that is applied also allows to be applied in areas that have some limitations, such as in areas that lack the internet network is qualified. In addition, with the class hematology as an object of application, it is expected that in the future will make students learn that class becomes more motivated to learn and understand the material taught so that indirectly will print future generation that qualified.

There are many ways to teach children in the world. Some children are learning at the school and others are learning at home. Homeschooling is one of the most common ways to teach children. Because of, technologies, the numbers of home schooling are increasing. Nowadays, many parents teach their children at home because they are able to use the Internet and read about anything they want. Moreover, homeschooling has different ways to teach children; it depends on the parents and the methods they teach. Some of the parents take courses to improve their knowledge about how they can educate their children and teach them new things. Some of the children like to study in a group, so parents communicate with other friend’s parents and decided to go on a trip with each other and study. Although many parents think that home schooling is beneficial for their children, students should not be homeschooled for several reasons: it is dangerous for children’s health, children will have limited education, and it does not have much quality.
The popularity and availability of online schooling, also referred to as virtual schools, cyber schools, e-learning, and distance learning, is growing rapidly throughout the U.S. I think the idea of virtual schools is wonderful, especially for those who are home bound or have medical conditions. Students at virtual schools can learn at any time and any place about any number of subjects, which is quite convenient. Students from rural areas can have the wide selection of courses usually only available to students in large suburban or urban schools.
Quoting Nelson Mandela, ¨Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world¨. Education is a never-ending process that requires constant learning, updating and guidance; much like technology which evolves very quickly trying to adjust to the everyday needs of the individuals all over the world. In the recent years, technology and education have tighten the knot to enhance learning and reach all learning styles; and enrich the teaching quality with great technologically developed teaching tools to ensure class success. Nicaraguan English Teaching institutions, though in a developing country, have made great efforts to keep up to date with the new teaching methodologies in the field including the integration of technology. Now the trend in Education refers to a new model and the English Teaching Institutions do not want to fall behind. Therefore, ELT in Nicaragua with the predilection of blended learning has to integrate technology to the classroom as a necessary tool for English teaching. For this reason, The Flipped classroom model, the new trend in teaching, offers a great advantage to EFL learners to engage in more collaborative tasks, become independent learners and use technology positively in and outside the classroom to acquire the language more naturally.

Blended learning is efficient, because professors can use one-on-one time, along with digital instruction. Teachers have additional time to give individualized instruction to those who need it, while students use adaptive learning technologies to comprehend new concepts. Teachers can help all students reach their maximum potential. When students do meet together in class, their time is often more high quality. Students also receive regular face-to-face times with instructors they might not in a traditional classroom.
People have a lot of options in educating themselves online in today’s time and technology. Online education has improved a lot in the past twenty years. Even though it has had its setbacks, it continues to show promising results. Online education has many benefits with little to no disadvantages. It provides flexibility in scheduling and offers various options in educational online programs. In the past decade, education has evolved into a more technological-driven world.
Today’s generation is like no other. The nation as a whole has completely evolved from past times, with technology being one of the greatest improvements. Traditionally, schooling takes place in a classroom setting, but, with the many modifications in our world’s system, we are able to assimilate more modern means of education, such as online learning. However, with many changes comes differences and requires adjustments. The online learning system has proven to be just as effective as traditional learning, with some minor differences, however, nothing of great significance. A few of those insignificant differences include online learning being convenient, especially for the non-traditional students,
Online education is a booming trend in the education world. It is something different than the traditional classroom. It is allowing student around the world the opportunity to get an education. Online education allows student to have a more proficient and cheaper way of learning. Having multiple ways to give a student an education allows all learning types to find their own way of learning. Education changes lives but it can be difficult for students to get to a classroom to sit through an hour class 4 times a week, this can be for many different reasons. There are many doubts about online education, but this a new world without borders it is a new opportunity for people from all over the world to get an education.
Many people think online education can be more expensive than a traditional school setting. Previous generations did not have the option for online learning experience, so why should we start now? An interesting point about online education is that LeBaron (2010) states, “The largest school in the U.S. is the University of Phoenix Online, with a whopping 380,232 students. That’s over 5x more than the largest public school, Arizona State University, which has 68,064 students” (para. 7). Despite the cost effectiveness, distance education is becoming the educational model of the future.
Distance learning, sometimes called e-learning, is a formalized teaching and learning system specifically designed to be carried out remotely by using electronic communication. People could find out distance learning on the internet or searching form the school, sometimes teachers would introduce the best or the most credibility distance learning web. Such as class.com and University of Phoenix, etc. Distance learning is less expensive and is not constrained by geographic considerations; it offers opportunities in situations where traditional education has difficulty operating. Students with scheduling or distance problems can benefit, as can employees, because distance education can be more flexible in terms of time and can be delivered virtually anywhere. Under the unified leadership of the distance learning education, the modern distance learning education work gradual increase the number of school has now reached a certain scale. However, not every school or any distance learning education has clear idea for the modern education. Many people have differences understandings and it formed a big deviation. It can be said, for the purpose of developing the distance learning education and the hopes has not formed a consensus, which leads to very often difficult to form in the actual work force.
In this chapter there is one main idea. The main idea is that there are nine additional parameters of Mediated Learning Experience (MLE) that are situationally appropriate. The key concepts for the second half of this chapter are the situation or event specific parameters identified by the authors. Herein each of the parameters will be identified and a possible classroom connection will be noted. In addition, a brief correlation to traditional and contemporary learning theories will be identified.
With the wave of technology being a part of the main stream educational process, online learning is being considered as an option for most parents of a K-12 learner. Although it is a great way to learn it involves time and commitment from both students and their families. It is also making it easier for home schooled students to get their lessons, as well as for the resources parents need in teaching their child at home.
Over the years it has been seen that education has taken up several forms. With the advent of technology, education has also been integrated with technology. Previously it was seen that education was achieved through written forms of paper with pen or pencil. The use of pen and pencil can be dated back to the Roman Empire. However, with the developing pace the traditional means of attaining education are changing. The introduction of information technology has brought forth a new way of learning through the internet. E-learning is the new form of education introduced by IT which helps people to attain knowledge through the use of their computers. A portal is introduced by the use of information technology which the students are able to access and to take tests. However, this new technology also brings with it other ethical issues of plagiarism and social contact. Online education is an inadequate alternative for traditional, classroom-based teaching for several reasons: there is no interactive communication between the student and the instructor, potential employers do not value online course work, class offerings are limited, instructor feedback to the student might be delayed for days, and group projects are nonexistent.
Online learning, also known as distance learning or online learning, has become a new and successful means of receiving an education in a highly technologically enhanced environment (Regan, Evmenova, Baker, Jerome, Spencer, Lawson, & Werner, 2012). Kaymak and Horzum (2013) defined online learning as using Internet technology to gain knowledge and skills through the use of synchronous and asynchronous learning tools. Allen and Seaman (2013) stated that about 6.7 million students attending colleges and universities across the United States were successfully enrolled in at least one online course in 2011. There is an increased interest in online learning that continues to grow as a result of the amplified demands from the work place and the escalating availability of nontraditional educational options and providers (Allen & Seaman, 2008).
