Dear Academic Opportunity Program Selection Committee: I am writing to apply for the 2016 AOP Summer Biology Tutoring position. I believe that I will make a successful AOP Biology tutor for several reasons. First, I believe that through the experience I was exposed to during my own summer program, I picked up a lot of tools and tricks that I wished that I had known earlier in the summer. I can effectively convey these tools, such as successfully budgeting time throughout the day as well as during tutoring hours and savoring the summer experience. My experiences throughout AOP summer and the ones I have subsequently had make me an excellent candidate for the Biology tutoring position. I am eager to help usher in the new AOP Class of 2020. …show more content…
I also anticipate that I will benefit just as much from the tutoring experience as the incoming class will. I am a strong believer that in order to definitively say that you fully understand any material, you have to be successful at conveying the information to others. With that being said, I can significantly improve my understanding of the material that is covered during the biology lectures. This would therefore enable me to be much more comfortable with it as I progress further at Union and as I potentially prepare to take the MCAT and attend medical school. Another characteristic that I hope to strengthen during the summer program is my ability to communicate information in varying ways. Every student has a different way of learning and comprehending information, and as the tutor, it will be my job to appropriately identify what type of learner each student is and meet his or her need through self-adaptation. If successful, then I will become much stronger at explaining and speaking to individuals who are not the same type of learner as me. This is a trait that I identified over my own AOP summer experience and have worked on ever since. Next year I hope to be an RA so that I can continue to encounter unique situations where in order to reach a common goal I must identify how to approach an issue, develop a strategy, and then finally achieve the
My name is Logan Thorp and I am currently a second year Doctor of Physical Therapy student at Southwest Baptist University. I am writing you in advocacy for the Dry Needling intervention that is currently in the scope of practice issues for Physical Therapists.
I am elated to celebrate Texas Independence Day by preparing my response to your call for the Project Director who will help make your beautiful dream a tangible reality, here in the heart of Texas. With broad and deep experience in bringing visions to life through my unique ability to direct the path of projects, I am confident that my record of delivering award-winning results will be well worth your time to review. After spending the last year patiently watching for a visionary project to appear that matches my own discerning criteria, I believe it has finally appeared in the form of the Pecan Street Project.
I feel that the Biomedical Academy would be a great addition to my education. As a current eighth grader, I am becoming more active in making decisions about my future, and after exploring all options, I have decided that the Academy would definitely be a great place for me to further my education.
I am writing in reference to Suny Lizeth Chirinos and her job application as a substitute teacher. I have known Suny Lizeth Chirinos for ten years as her friend. Since the time I met Suny she demonstrated to be a tough and responsible human being. At the time she was working for a dentistry office where she demonstrated her passion of working with kids, adolescents, and adults. It takes a special kind of person to endure the daily taskers of dealing with patients throughout the years.
In one way or another, I have been taking care of animals my entire life. Growing up, I was completely dedicated to animals, caring for what could be considered a mini zoo. Naturally, as a child, I was set on a career as a veterinarian. Like most children, I was naive about the veterinary profession, but I had plenty of people to warn me about its challenges. Albeit initially discouraged from becoming a veterinarian, my search for a meaningful career not only revived my spark for veterinary medicine but also gave me the maturity and experience necessary to succeed in it.
Part of my passion for the field of physical therapy stems from my profound curiosity of the human body. I am infatuated with the overall mechanics of the human body, and its ability to perform such actions. Similar to the human body I too am unique and possess great skills, and just like the body I am far from perfect, but I am confident that I possess the ability to succeed in this program as well as this field. To reach success, one must possess the ambition and desire to accomplish their lifelong goals and dreams, granted that the path to success will be full of hardships. I choose to apply at the University of St. Augustine because I feel that this program will aid in the pursuit of my career goal of becoming a licensed physical therapist. As previously stated, success is not warranted by chance, it must be earned, and I do believe that I possess the drive, ambition, and competency to succeed in this
In conclusion, I believe that I can offer a wealth of expertise and experience in contributing towards the continued development of a cohesive, dynamic and collaborative school that focuses on offering outstanding world class learning opportunities for all. I consider myself to be a good role model to students and staff alike and I am committed to leading by example. This, combined with my drive, infectious optimism and commitment to playing a full role within the school beyond those duties set out, make me a strong candidate for the post.
How to Write a Winning Cover Letter for Your Medical Assistant Job Application No matter what your chosen career is, never underestimate the power of a well-written cover letter to win your desired job. Most of the time, applicants get so caught up in making the perfect résumé that they neglect to spend the same dedication to their cover letter. Some individuals also wrongly believe that cover letters are not required when submitting a job application, even when it was specified in the job opening ad that a cover letter should be included. So why should you make sure you write the best cover letter for your job application as a medical assistant?
I am pleased to be applying for the role of KS2 Class Teacher at Ryelands Primary and Nursery School. I am attracted to this post as I see my values and philosophy of teaching fitting with those of your school. Valuing every child as an individual and being all inclusive are key to my philosophy, whilst I am fully dedicated and committed to providing the best quality of education for all children, with my full belief in their ability to achieve and succeed. It is clear from your Ofsted report that the entire staff of the school has worked exceptionally hard in their commitment to raising standards, which is reflected in your “Good” inspection. This is particularly noted in your results in teaching, as well as behaviour, attendance and progress.
Like many application essays, I am sure you have seen a million times, I am compassionate for others and I have always had a good eye for detail, which I am sure will help me greatly in this career but

Being in Intro to Exceptional this semester and being a teacher?s assistant was a great experience. This class really helped me understand the students better. For example, in class we talked about the reward system with students. One student in my class had a hard time staying focused and getting his homework done. He always worked with me so I set up a deal with the teacher and if he finished his workbook by the time I was done with TA then he and I could have a game day. After that reward was set he did great.
