We are not alone in the world. Many people can understand each other because of their own personal unique stories. The uniqueness is what makes it incredible. We can differentiate the uniqueness in the emotional growth of the main characters.

After Hiro loses his brother, baymax contacts hiro’s friends. His friends are very supportive when Hiro tries to get revenge by capturing his brothers killer. Also because of his friends, Hiro realizes that killing the villain wouldn’t bring justice. The fact that Hiro managed to harness all of his feelings for vengeance is remarkable. In The good dinosaur, Arlo starts off with only one person who is primarily the reason why his father died. He has to befriend Spot, who also got separated from his family, and together they manage to get back home. I think what we can get from this is that quality of friends is more important than that of the numbers of
And the characters were designed by Children’s authors and illustrated by Dan Yaccarino. Now let me tell you more about the main characters. 1. Danny Zuko is one of the main characters, but not the protagonist. He is the boyfriend of the protagonist, Sandy Olson. They all attend Rydell High. Zuko is the leader of the T-Birds, the school's greaser gang. I chose him for a charcter because him and Sandy are both the main character, but I don't think he's the protagonist. Therefore, I thought he should've been chosen for this because he is an important character in this film.
In “Creating the Myth,” Linda Seger outlines the essential aspects that make up the hero myth, and why movies that follow this outline are generally successful. In her analysis, she begins with the idea that every hero myth revolves around a hero who is called upon to accomplish a feat that nobody else in the story is able to do. The hero’s journey begins with an unlikely person being called upon to serve a purpose greater than themselves. Along their journey, the hero is influenced by several archetypical characters that either help the hero, or try to deter the hero from accomplishing their task. The hero’s journey ends when they have accomplished their task, and in doing so, become a greater person than what they were in the beginning. A film that found tremendous success by following this outline was “Kung Fu Panda.”
Have you ever seen Indiana Jones and Raiders of the Lost Ark? In that movie if you’re paying attention you can see a faithful reproduction of the biblical account of the Ark of the Covenant – the most sacred of all objects from the Bible. It is gilded with Gold, with fine woods and carvings – with the figures of two cherubs (keruvim – those who bring God close) on top – wings outstretched and barely touching at the point where God’s presence might one day descend and perhaps glow brightly like a metaphoric shining light of truth and knowledge.

In the book Ready Player One, being able to be in a virtual reality almost sound like you’re in a dream, but in the movie The Matrix being stuck inside a virtual reality without being aware of it is more like a nightmare. Being able have total control of entering and exiting to a different world where you can do anything you like can sound like fun. but what happens when you live inside a virtual reality and not being aware of it feels like you are a prisoner. In both these stories the protagonist are jumping in and out the virtual world, but are they both doing it so they can survive in the real world.

The pristine 1933 King Kong was constructed as a movie: to convey a story to entertain an audience. Peter Jackson’s 2005 remake took the substructure for King Kong and expanded upon it in virtually every way in order to “make again” the astoundment of the original for a modern-day audience. Audiences received the first King Kong very well. The stop-motion sequences of Kong were astounding for their time and the movie grossed over $90,000 in its beginning weekend. In order to bank upon its prosperity again, sequels were made and thus in 1976 a remake was made to amend upon the original. Paramount updated the movie to color, altered the story, and cast Jeff Bridges, a widely popular actor of the time, as the lead actor. Although the movie received stirred reviews, it did exceptionally well in the box office and tripled Paramount’s initial budget for the motion picture. Even though the movie wasn’t “as good” as the original, audiences still paid money to view it because of that hope that they would feel like they once did when they visually perceived the first King Kong. The remake add...
The widely popular film Shrek, produced and distributed by DreamWorks in 2001, grossed a total of $484,409,218 in worldwide sales (Box Office Mojo). The success of the film has led DreamWorks to create several shorts, companion films, and sequels. From its memorable characters to its whimsical, edgy humor, Shrek was an amazing, highly successful animation that would pave the way for DreamWorks to make billions off the franchise. Shrek’s success can be attributed to three main factors: the range of ages it appeals to, its creative use of intertextuality, and its ability to cover a wide range of the fairy tale functions proposed by Vladimir Propp.
In 1993, Universal Studios released an epic movie known as Jurassic Park. Based on the novel by Michael Crichton, Steven Spielberg and his incredible cast took the viewers on an adventure that brought dinosaurs back from the dead and set the bar for how people would expect special effects in a movie should be. The movie was critically acclaimed and won many awards for special effects and sound. Jurassic Park is one of the greatest movies of all time because it brought dinosaurs to life on screen in a way that had never been attempted before plus leading edge audio/video special effects turned the world on its head with their stunning realism and lifelike sound.
In the novel Big Fish by Daniel Wallace, we are told the story of Edward Bloom, a man of many adventures, who is somewhat of a myth. Big Fish is a collection of the tall tales Edward tells his son about his life, and also of the effect his tales had on his son. The novel comes from an American author from Alabama, while the movie comes from Hollywood and is directed by Tim Burton, who is also American. This story is not an ancient sacred text, so the story’s function(s) is to entertain and to make money.
