1. Danny Zuko is one of the main characters, but not the protagonist. He is the boyfriend of the protagonist, Sandy Olson. They all attend Rydell High. Zuko is the leader of the T-Birds, the school's greaser gang. I chose him for a charcter because him and Sandy are both the main character, but I don't think he's the protagonist. Therefore, I thought he should've been chosen for this because he is an important character in this film. 2. The protagonist in Grease is Sandy Olsson. Sandy and her family had moved from Australia to America, after summer vacation to attend Rydell High. She is the girlfriend of Danny Zuko. She wasn't aloud to become a member of the Pink Ladies because of Rizzo. She thought that she's "too pure." 3. The antagonist
The four main characters in the book are Drue “True” Robinson, Lee Atkins, Urban “Legend” Donald Sellers, and Mr. Gilbert. Drue is a rising basketball star from New York City. He played in an all-star game, where Mr. Gilbert first noticed him. Mr. Gilbert convinced Drue and his mom to come to the east coast where he would find his mom a job and a nice home. Drue became friends with Lee the first day of school and later in the book he becomes friends with Legend.
1.Who is the narrator of the story? How is he or she connected to the story ( main character, observer, minor character)?
There are six main characters in this story: Mark, David, Susan, Jeff, Betsy, and Mr. Griffin. The most influential would be Mark. He is the one who comes up with the plan to kidnap Mr. Griffin. He is not a very good student and has a reputation of being a "bad boy." Next there is David. David is supposed to be one of the better kids in the story. He is a senior who is in the same class as Mark and the other characters. His role in the kidnapping is to get Susan to go along with the plan., and to help with the kidnapping itself. He seems to be a rather good kid in the beginning of the story but he progresses to be one of the bad ones. He has a very stressful home life with his mom and grandma. Then there is Susan. Susan is the good student and kid of the group. She is thought of as unpopular and a geek. She is very bright considering that she is a junior and is taking an English IV class. She is supposed to distract Mr. Griffin by having a meeting with him after school on the day of the event. She then gets pulled into the conflict even further when she wants to go to the police when Mr. Griffin dies. She almost gets
Zachary is a kind, intelligent but slightly obsessive young man. He is a developing character because throughout the story you discover different aspects of his character. His character seems very predictable it turns our that his actions are unpredictable in the end. The story ends with a twist, which explains his actions throughout the story.
There are three older boys, Ralph, Jack, and Piggy, that have an effect on the group of younger boys. The Main character Ralph, changes throughout the novel because of his role of leadership and responsibility, which shapes him into a more strict but caring character as the group becomes more uncivilized and savage. At the beginning of the story, after the plane crashed on the island and the boys are accounted for, Ralph feels very free and absent. He finds a lagoon with warm water, and just like any other twelve year old boy, he goes for recreational swimming. Whizzoh!
One thing that, in my opinion, affected the greasers’ life the most was death. The greasers thought of each other as more than just friends but as family. Ponyboy says, “Or I could have gotten one of the gang to come along, one of the four boys that Darry and soda and I have grown up with and consider family” (Hinton 3). Losing one of these boys was like losing a part of your family. After Johnny and Dally’s death, the greasers grew up. They experienced grief and loss. These greasers grew up too quickly because of their friend’s
Main Character: Crash he is the only one mentioned in this whole book. He is the main main character. He is tall has blonde hair, brown eyes, and has glasses. He has a funny personality. He just wants to have fun. On the outside he is a weird, tall, skinny guy on the outside but a lost, hopeless, scared boy on the inside.
A hero, according to the Merriam-Webster online dictionary is “a man admired for his achievements and noble qualities”, or “one who shows courage”. Write an essay explaining why you believe each of the Greasers - Ponyboy, Johnny, and Dally - could be considered a hero. Include your own definition of hero in the essay, and be sure to explain how each character, in his own way, meets your definition. Remember to support your ideas with examples.
Both the original novel and the movie focus on a group of greasers in Oklahoma, who have to deal with the Socs, another social group that are supposedly rich and spoiled brats. But one of the major
Character vs character was demonstrated as the defining conflict of the book. It is primarily shown as Socs opposing the greasers. A good example of Soc versus greaser was
In this part I will be talking about all of the good and bad people in this story. I will basically talk about all of the important characters that were in the book throughout it.
“Greasers can’t walk alone too much or they’ll get jumped… We get jumped by the Socs.” The Socs are rich kids who are supposed to be the kids everyone in the city are proud of, but really they are a violent gang who break many laws. At least the greasers are all good friends and they stick together. Also, this is when the war between the two groups broke loose. “ ‘I killed him,’ Johnny said ‘I killed that boy.’” To the Socs this wasn’t like he was defending himself. This was a Greaser killing a Soc. So this would start a war, the Greasers would get jumped more than they ever had before. They would plan a big fight, if the Socs won everything would stay the same, meaning they could keep going over to the Greasers part of town, but if the Greasers won the Socs would have to stay on their side only. Overall, the story line is on the inside lifes of the Greasers as they continue to have problems with the west side rich kids.
2. The relationship between the narrator and the protagonist is that they are the same person. The reason being is because the narrator knows
The first character I’m gonna talk about is Zach Powers. He was one of the popular 8th graders, and he was mean to Cap and he judged him. He gets schooled because he makes Cap the president and tries to make fun of him. But surprisingly, he becomes the most popular 8th grader. Zach then becomes unpopular . For example on page he says,”How do you think I felt at lunch on Tuesday when I walked with the tray and found Cap at my table in my seat?” This shows he’s mad that Cap is now popular. He should have learned to not make fun of people. He is a static character, he doesn’t really change.
There are many characters in the book, but main character in the book is Hercule Poirot. Hercule is a famous Belgian inspector known for his efficient, unorthodox methods
