“A worldview is the framework from which we view reality and make sense of life and the world. [It's] any ideology, philosophy, theology, movement or religion that provides an overarching approach to understanding God, the world and man's relations to God and the world.”(1) A worldview can be described by thinking of a beam of light shining into a glass prism. All the light that enters the prism is the same, but different colors of light will come out the other side. In a worldview, all the same information is given, but people’s mind will interpret and view the information differently, depending on their worldview. People with a Biblical Worldview, will view people as made by God and in His image, therefore, they deserve respect and love. …show more content…

Cosmic humanism is the belief that all things are god and that god is one. The theology is neither atheism nor theism but it is pantheism. They believe that all people are god and that we are all aiming to reach this ‘higher consciousness’ that Jesus Christ has achieved. They believe that the natural world doesn’t exist and supernaturalism is the only thing that exists. This philosophy is called non-naturalism. They have faith in the fact that ultimate reality is spiritual rather than material, and only can be accessed through personal experience. Cosmic Humanists’ ethical standard is Moral Relativism and Karma. This ethical view entails that “everyone acts morally by following their own inner truth.”(153) In other words, someone cannot be “bad,” not even Adolf Hitler. Cosmic Humanism, from a biological standpoint, believes in Cosmic Evolution. They view science as a destructive tool that is “an assault on the balance of planetary harmony.”(196) Another theory they developed is called the Gaia Hypothesis, which also connects the world and makes it seem to be one living unit.
