The reason that I would like to become an MIT at Rhody Market is that I believe that this position will allow me to grow greatly. Becoming an MIT would mean I would have a lot more responsibilities than I would have as a general employee. I also believe I have the skills required to become an MIT. I'm good at working fast, learning new things quickly, I can work on my own and with others, and I have good-time management. By being an MIT I would be able to expand not only on the skill I already have but also on my leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. After landing a job I want to devout myself to that company and really invest myself in them and provide a relationship where I gain something, yet the company gains something from me as well. My last step is to really make a name for myself whether it is in Nashville, New York, or Los Angela’s. I don’t have talent with playing instruments or singing but I know I am great with business and I really want to prove myself to the world so that people hear my name and know my legacy. There are several reasons why I would like to attend the Woodbridge Academy. Academically, a spectacular learning environment makes a superb school. Some examples of a great learning environment are class sizes being smaller, there is amazing collaboration between the students and faculty, and the school counselors will always be determined and will lead the student in the right direction. I would like to work for Habitat for Humanity because I want to lift families out of poverty and help them build lifelong tools, so they can teach others how to get out of poverty too. In detail, I believe that I am called to work for Habitat for Humanity because I was provided with a stable shelter that enables me to continue my education to success. If it was not for Habitat for Humanity enriching and providing my family a home, I would not be at Berea College. Most importantly, I can help Habitat for Humanity continue providing low-income families affordable homes through my past experience with community service and working past jobs that held high standards. Throughout high school I have dreamed of having the opportunity to attend Indiana University. I have a true passion for babies. I love to learn how babies are developed and how they become such an amazing part of the world. Therefore, I would like to apply to Indiana University and pursue a degree in Pediatric Nursing. At the start of the semester, my oblivious state of nature associating with the Chinese culture reached an unacceptable level. Implementing a necessary change, I decided to educate myself on different cultures starting with China. I failed to ponder that such a rich, deep culture existed outside America. Encompassed by this country’s unique yet suffocating melting pot culture, my outlook believed ideas such as uniformity between American Chinese food and Authentic Chinese food. After this course, my bigot perspective widened as I witnessed diversity in the world. Before this class, when I thought of Chinese food, my connotation jumped to thoughts associated with chop suey, but as I progressed my education, my mindset gradually pondered foods like steamed buns or “New Year Cakes” with authentic Chinese food.
I want to be in ASB because I think that this is a great opportunity for me to practice my leadership skills to help all students at Medea Creek. I enjoy helping people and working with others and I know that ASB is a wonderful chance for me to do so. I know that our school should have voices that help others who cannot speak up for themselves and I will help them raise their voices in school. There are several reasons why I can say I would like to become a respiratory therapist, the respect that respiratory practitioner receive, the importance and the involvement that respiratory care has in patient care, for one day I will be working with all kinds of patients, from peds to the elderly, from subacute patients to the critically ill. I also enjoy seeing a patient who was under my care in the intensive care unit (ICU), now being discharged and knowing that I played a part in the patient’s ability to go home. The knowledge and the way a respiratory care practitioner can critically think in stressful times. Knowing this, I am making this my goal in life, and I will achieve this by pursuing a career the in the science field as a lab technician in a hospital. I made the decision to pursue a STEM degree because of the enjoyment I will feel waking up every single day.
When I was given the choice to any job that I want to do or research I choose a financial advisor. The reason that I choose a financial advisor is because it has always interested me. The reason that it interested me was because my dad has been a financial advisor for most of his life. This means I have a little better understanding of the job than the person next to me. From what I have heard from my dad it really makes me want to go into this same career. From the information that I know I like the job but, that’s why I did this research to learn more and see if the job would fit me as a person. I hope to find a job that will let me interact with people and not keep me at a desk all day.
Second, after my educational are completed I will focus of finding a job where I can advance into business management and gain the necessary experience required to become a college professor in the business area. I would like to stay with my current employer, but transfer to another higher paying position that will give me the skills and experience that will be give me advancement opportunities.
I like options, I like security, and I like power. With these wants, I knew at a very early age that I would enter business and thus I attended a college that specializes in the subject. In my first position out of school, I was hired by Dunhill Equities as a cold-caller. After several weeks of being hung up on by angry prospects, I decided that this career path would not lead me to success. I then moved within the firm to a position as sales assistant. While this was by no means my dream job, I learned a tremendous amount about business, and I gained useful exposure to the world of finance. Unfortunately, the company hit a period of instability, and after ten months I transferred with my boss to Coleman & Company. Thirteen months later, that company also began to fail, and I began to search for another path to advancement. With two strikes against me, I hit a home run and was hired by Sanford Bernstein into a challenging job with limitless opportunity for growth.
Growing people always dream about going to college. They think that after finishing high school automatically comes college.
