This decision is driven by my desire to improve my overall performance on the field and create opportunities for my teammates. By developing strong technical abilities, I believe I can become a more effective player and make significant contributions to the team's success in the future. Improving technical skills, such as ball control, accurate passing, and dribbling techniques, will enhance those abilities while on the field. Moving forward, I plan to apply the skills and lessons learned during this journey to my regular training routine rather than just to this commitment. I will continue to prioritize my development, incorporating specific drills and exercises into my practice sessions. Seeking opportunities to showcase my improved technical abilities in competitive games and tournaments is the plan for my future performance on the field. By going out of my way, this “increases chances of achieving long-term goals” (Parker-Pope). In the first phase of my 32-day commitment, I focused on building a solid foundation of basic technical skills. This included mastering dribbling techniques, improving ball control, and enhancing my passing accuracy. According to a study conducted by Smith et al, mastering dribbling techniques is crucial for players to maintain possession and navigate through opponents effectively.
