This week in our Christian World View we looked at the sixth Beatitude which states “Blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see God” and Proverb3: 5-6 which states “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path”. Both blessings helps us give direction not only to us on lives but also to those of students that we teach daily. The sixth Beatitude that is mentioned above helps us understand how God views each of his children here on Earth. This blessing has two key points that we must understand as a child of God. One of these is that we must realize that we do not have pure hearts. We must also realize that God does not look at our external …show more content…
He has a plan for each of us to make us Holly in thought, word, and deed. One part of this plan is for us to be reborn again in Jesus Christ and put our faith and trust in only God. This Beatitude tells us that there are two rewards for a pure heart. One reward is that you will see God immediately and the other reward is that upon your death you will pass directly into heaven or eternity. As teachers, it is our responsibility to model a pure heart even if we do not have one. We must put our trust in God and have faith that he will guide us in teaching his children the blessing that he has provided for our daily …show more content…
He was worried about something and he had not gotten much rest. I noticed as his teacher that he looked worried and tired, so I ask what was bothering him. He never really said what the problem was, but he said he had not slept well because he was really worried about something. I told him it would all be fine and to try not to worry so much. It could affect his health if he was not careful. I also told him he needed to have a little faith that everything was going to be fine. He nodded at me and said o.k. but he also said it might not turn us like I want. I told him that was true, but God had a plan and he just had to have a little faith and trust that he would work it out for him. He nodded that he understands and put his head down. This situation ties in with both the Proverb and the Beatitudes in putting your faith and trust in God. He needed to give his worry to God and have faith that everything was going to be o.k. in the

In a Christ centered classroom the teacher would exemplify and incorporate the fruits of the spirit in their daily interaction with their students. The bible refers to the fruit of the spirit as the following: love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). On the other hand, it is possible for a secular approach to also incorporate the fruits of the spirit in their class, but it would not be as easy to incorporate on a regular

“As a Christian learning community, we honor God by the way we work together at our calling. We rejoice in discovering the character and glory of our Creator as we explore His creation. As people who bear God’s image, we pursue the truth of His revelation. That revelation comes to us in the person of Christ, the wonder and beauty of creation, and the Spirit-directed words of the Bible” (Bethel University, Philosophy of Education)
The essay, “A Christian World View,” by Mickenzie Neely seeks to address some major themes that pertain to a Christian worldview. The essay, in summary, states that “serving others, accepting and giving grace, sacrifice, and justice are all essential to living for Christ.” This essay was presented in a way in which she used facts and scriptures from the Bible to support her point. This paper will analysis Neely’s main arguments and will evaluate my opinion of her writing. The main topics that apply to my Christian worldview are love, service, grace and forgiving.
Prime reality is how people see God, whom reveals Himself to Human kind as a Triune God. The relationship between human and God is personal (Aline, 2015). Also, the world is viewed differently depending who is looking. This student believes that God is always there in the time of needs, chaos and suffering, this attitude helps this student to see the world positively as a human being. The way this student see human being also has a positive impact in her life. She believes that God created human in His image, this being has an intellectual capacity to understand and gain knowledge about self (Creed, 2015). By gathering Knowledge about self, ones should also search to know what happen when they die. This student believes that, when someone dies, if that people accepted Jesus as their personal Savior, there will be a place reserved for them, but for the ones who rejected Christ, they are lost forever. That is why it is important to talk about the possibility to know anything at all. This student believes that she is not perfect and she always learning from past mistakes while asking God for forgiveness, God has written in everyone heart the divine law and, He sent the Holy Spirit to help people understanding right and wrong. This is one of the many way that God has showed his love to mankind by showing his unconditional love to each and all people on earth (Sire,
If as believers we fail to completely trust the Word of God and form our life under its direction then our witness will become misleading and even confusing. Believer’s effort in diligently understanding, applying and holding full trust to the word of God in all aspects of our life will be instrumental in building our faith. Such a faith will elevate us to enable us rise above the unrelenting wave of our culture’s non-biblical ideologies. Biblical worldview is very important in order to develop a life, which can be emulated by others in diligence, integrity and honesty in the modern society (Tackett, 2014).
In conclusion, teachers who share their worldview with their students and encourage them to also expand and develop their own biblical worldview are giving their students a whole integrated education. The hope of a teacher should be that what their students learn will carry them through life by always seeing everything through the lens of God’s

As we search the word of God with passion and earnestly, the Holy Spirit will illuminate us, so we can grasp his will in our life “until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.” (Eph. 4:13).
First and foremost, I will always be focused on the fact that it is my responsibility as a teacher to “cause my students to learn”. I cannot teach my students content unless I have prayed and asked God for illumination and for an “appliers heart”. It is important that I understand the content and application before I teach this to my students which should result in a life change for them. Application is the main reason for God’s revelation and it is my responsibility to share this with my students. My ultimate goal is to illustrate how scripture can be used in daily
Teachers must create lessons to inspire their students to think and make decisions based on God 's principles. The school should foster an environment where the students realize what Christ has done for them and give them the desire to see others come to know Christ as their Savior. A good way to make this happen is to create diverse learning opportunities where students can learn about other cultures and environments where missionaries are working to reach people for the Lord. Basically, the purpose of Christian education is directing the process of human development toward godliness of character and action.
This year as we were challenged to give our hearts to God and our minds to our teachers, we learned more of their goals to see us grow as Jesus did in wisdom, stature and favor with both God and man. Col. 1:28 encourages teachers to warn and teach in all wisdom to present each man perfect in Christ Jesus.
At one point or another in one’s life you are faced with God, eye to eye and you know it. You can feel the Holy Spirit’s presence, like a humming sound that’s too low to hear, but it’s there and you can feel it, a feeling that you are not alone. For some, this feeling lasts for eternity, and for others God works within them again and again because the Lord’s love is persistent. The feeling I had came and went, for it was not strong enough as a child. But now, I am the strongest I have ever been.
