I wonder if she still has the videos? The ones we took that summer. The ones when we were being ourselves, and most of all, the ones when we were being best friends. She was over at my house and the radio was blasting. We had dragged the mattress from the guest room onto the floor along with thousands of stuffed animals. At first we were just messing around and then she started a war. I felt like a little kid getting picked on by my sister.
“Stop it!” I said
“Stop what?”
“Beating me up with stuffed animals!”
“But it’s fun,” she mumbled. I started fighting back. “Hey! What’s that for?”
“You started this and I’m going to finish it!”
We were actually having a stuffed animal fight. It was the most fun I had ever had with her. She would flop around

The fan we had blowing in the corner added some effect to the videos. She recorded our stupidity, our laughter, and our friendship. I wish I could go back to that day.
Another memory I will never forget was the time that we were on bars and royals came on. We all started singing and dancing and laughing.
“And we’ll never be royals!” We all simultaneously screamed. “That kind of lux just ain't for us, we crave a different kind of buzz.” We were completely in our own world.
All of the sudden it was my turn on the bar and it was like I couldn't move. I couldn't get on the bar. I was just laughing so hard and I couldn't do it. Nobody could. We were just having so much fun. Whenever I hear that song I think of her. I think of that day and get happy because I'm remembering our times together, and then I realize that she’s not here remembering them with me.
I absolutely love Ellie, and I absolutely hate hugs. If someone tries to give me a hug I push them away. Ellie loved hugs. Except her hugs would make me happy. Sometimes it seemed like she gave out hugs to the whole world. I remember that she used to say everyday was national free hugs day. I love her hugs. The first thing I would do when I saw her was give her a hug because I knew that was what she wanted me to
“I wouldn’t do a thing like that. Why would I do a thing like that?” she said.
Firstly, Ellie responds to war by becoming increasingly violent and aggressive in the way she goes about everyday life and the nature of her thoughts, as shown through Marsden’s use of characterisation. When Ellie finds out Chris has been sleeping when he was supposed to be on the lookout, her response is “[Chris] was asleep, and I was furious. I shouted, screamed, and then kicked him, hard. Even while I was doing it I was shocked at myself. Even
Throughout the world, there are many artifacts ranging from Literature, Music, Social Media, Fashion, Toys, Technology, and many other ones. Every single one of these artifacts has a special meaning to them such as, the Statue of Liberty which represents freedom. The National Museum and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum both contain many different types of artifacts that represent our history, as well as sharing a special meaning that can affect a person individually or even shape our society. "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas" was a book written by John Boyne, which should be considered an artifact in the Holocaust Memorial Museum or the National Museum, because it represents the history of the Holocaust, as well as by symbolizing
This description of Ellie was the turning point in the story and how it was told. It changed the mood from a playful back and forth between two people into something darker. Connie saying, “Maybe you two better go away,” turns the mood and begins to make Friend become more pushy and arrogant. "”Connie, don't fool around with me. I mean—I mean, don't fool around,”" Friend said this, and then corrected himself like he wanted her to fool around with him and not anyone
For instance, the time her friends would sneak out and drive fast thru every speed bump in the station wagon her mother had borrowed. Her mother literally would cry and tell the girls to crash it because she was not going to take it to work. Those were some good
The Boy in Striped Pajamas is an expertly crafted film that eloquently depicts the heart-wrenching reality of the Jewish Holocaust. The movie contains an abundant scattering of thoughtfully constructed themes and symbols; however, the most prominent themes are arguably those of fear, lies, and regret. Fear is an insurmountable, unavoidable being that manifests itself in the characters of the film at staggered times, with evidence appearing in the form of both actions and words. The concept of lying acts as a foundational bedrock, forming direct conflict between the characters and leading many others to ignorance surrounding the brutality of the Holocaust. Lastly, regret fulfills a critical niche in demonstrating the concerning qualms the characters
The novel, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, by John Boyne is narrated from the outlook of a young, privileged boy named Bruno, whose father is a Nazi Commandant during World War II. One day, when Bruno returns home from school he notices the family maid, Maria, packing his belongings. His mother explains that they will be moving away from Berlin because his father was granted a promotion by the Fury. Throughout the story, Bruno discusses his confusion on exactly what type of job his father employs because he is only told that, “it is a very important job that needs a very special man to do it” (5).
But I have my favorite memories of her. One was when I was 6 we decided to copy one of our favorite tv shows Gladiators. So we put metal folding chairs into a straight line and had two people run back and forth on the chairs. While they throw water balloons at us. Which was fine until my uncle who was a bit tipsy decided he would like to join in.
"You're one to talk. At least I can stand. " I laughed weakly. The smile was wiped from my face slowly as I uttered the words, "I'm sorry. But I can't sit here and watch him kill you."
I remember the sound of my baby brother’s and sister’s laughter if you played with them
I gave her the biggest hug and kiss! I loved her so much that even if this was at school I wouldn’t be embarrassed. She smiled so big and turned around to give me a hug. “I’m so happy to have her in my life.” I thought.
"What?" I said in a baffled tone. "Aren't you bored?" Hanna said in her typical careless tone. "Let's separate from the group!
“I just didn’t know what to do, I didn’t want her to be mad at me” she said to me honestly.
The last time she picked on me she wished she never did. I was walking towards school and she then was getting dropped off. She then said “Cry baby how was your birthday?” I had enough of the insults and mistreating’s. I grabbed her and began to fight her, but better yet I ended up taking her hair off her head.
