Visitor perceptions related to parking areas vary according to the nature of the area. It is difficult to park in an urban area. This is even more challenging when there is no place to park or if the place is notably small. In a survey conducted in Southern California, respondents stated that they would pay a visit to a beach 17.18 days additionally per year averagely if parking is made easier. Results display that respondents would visit 34.38 days often annually if it halved time to reach the beach. This comes up with the fact that beaches with limited access gain fewer visitations than the opposite. It had been discovered that visitation will increase when beach access improved even if tourists had to bear the expense for extra access. It seems that visitors who return to a tourist destination display significant higher satisfaction upon the site than visitors who arrived for the first time. During the time off, beach visitors usually expect to rest. Tranquility and affinity to the nature were also expected. So it is apparent that long established “sea, sun, sand” beach model is still valid even though parking is inadequate. Perceived attractiveness of the beach, perceived condition of service and perceived quality of money are all considerably affect the predicted satisfaction of tourists.(Snider, Luo et al. …show more content…

Local Communities were also against this decision. Again to prevent constructions in the restricted zone, CCD brought a permit system. This system is not strictly implemented to limit unnecessary , not well designed buildings in the site. It is not easy to find appropriate lands to build tourism related

Tourism impacts can be generally classified into seven categories with each having both positive and negative impacts. These impacts include; economic, environmental, social and cultural, crowding and congestion, taxes, and community attitude. It is essential for a balance on array of impacts that may either positively or negatively affect the resident communities. Different groups are concerned about different tourism impacts that affect them in one way or another. Tourism’s benefits can be increased by use of specific plans and actions. These can also lead to decrease in the gravity of negative impacts. Communities will not experience every impact but instead this will depend on particular natural resources, development, or spatial patterns (Glen 1999).

As I lay on the minute golden grains of sand, I looked up at the brilliant sky, adorned with flashes of pink and orange and purple, mirroring the colours of a flawless seasoned apricot. The goddess-like sun’s face is being embraced by the demure navy fingertips of the skyline.
The sound of the howling winds draws me back to reality. I stay still as a statue, eyes closed with my head resting against the crook of my elbow. The ache in my back throbs yet I cannot resist the urge to stay folded over my desk, soaking in the sound of the rain drumming against the roof. Melodic and calming. My heavy eyelids strain as I force them open and through the spidery thin strands of my hair I make out the sight of the sky.
The boy limps up the bench, leaving a path of blood behind him. His bright red blood paints the soft sand as I get a sense of deja vu. It tingles through my body as it sends me back in time... I remember the circular lake piercing the bay, like a metal disc. Its surface sat undisturbed, perfectly reflecting the sky above.
The Jersey Shore oozes Hawaiian vibes with the majestic deep purple acai blend from a roadside shack. I got to cross off “taste testing acai bowls” on my summer bucket list as I was stumbling across this gem near 10th avenue: Playa Bowls at the Pier Village in Long Branch Beach, New Jersey. After tanning and enduring a long day on the beach, it was the perfect revitalizing snack. I was hyped to know about a smoothie bowl spot on the beach after a few buzzes on the beach about the place and saw everyone holding one of these bowls on the boardwalks. The long line that went outside the door spoke for itself.
Ever since Sunset Beach has been officially opened to the public, there has been a drastic increase of tourists present. Television programs concluded that at least a thousand people visit the beach everyday. Reasons for their stay are that they feel comfortable with the environment that surrounds the beach front, people who are at the beach are joyous and numerous activities to enjoy, and the fresh scent of the sparkly waters, make the visitors feel calm and pleasurable. So I decided to take a trip there.

It is a well-noted fact that tourists from the developed world, or rich western nations, are in favour of visiting unspoilt natural environments and places steeped in tradition. However, Lea (1988) regards such attractions as being a sign of underdevelopment and rarely tolerated by the host nations just because they meet with foreign approval of visitors. Instead, it is the priority of the respective governments to raise living standards to acceptable levels, which means modernisation and the implementation of various infrastructures. Nevertheless, if administered effectively mass tourism could provide a form of sustainable development by meeting the needs of the present without compromising those of the future.
