In the world everyone has a background story of who they are and what they came to be, a story to their identity which tells people a little about themselves. Have you ever heard of the phrase “basketball is life “? Well actually it is life, in my life basketball always comes first and it’s a everyday kind of thing. To me I have a lot of stories about myself but i think one of the most top stories would be about basketball. For me basketball is one of the things that make up my life because I started since i was young and i was just kind of born into it. Basketball not only taught me how to play it but also taught me life lessons in the real world. Basketball is a sport that consists of teamwork, heart, dedication, commitment, time, effort, determination, and integrity. By playing basketball it took up most of my weekends but i didn’t mind because it helped me get out of trouble and just helped me meet new friends. I couldn’t imagine what I would be doing if I was not playing basketball. Basketball does not come easy it’s a sport that comes with benefits and non benefits. One thing you’ll have to learn when you play basketball is how to conserve your time, because in high school teachers give a shit load of homework and you literally have no time to do it because you’ll have practices from after school and games on the weekends and weekdays, and when you get home you’re just so tired that you just want to crash. But lucky thing for me my basketball coach has a study hall for all the girls after school to help us with our homework and just keep us on track.
