Driving down the road on a very sunny Christmas morning when I look behind me and see my dog Wilson being adorable. I turn to my mom and said “Awe the dog is so adorable!” my mother turned to look over at the dog, when she hits a patch of ice on the side of the road. I was sitting upfront with my other dog Cocoa in my lap, I sat up stick straight everything in my body tensing up and my skin turning even more pale than it already was. Grabbing on to the dog I had a death grip around her so she wouldn't go flying. As the car swerved off the highway spinning in circles my dog Wilson being tossed onto the ground and my Millie a current Foster dog being bumped around in her small cage. I could hear the clashing of the cage on the side of the car. It all happened really fast. When the car swerved into the ditch hitting a metal light post. The light post wobbled but didn't fall down onto the car creating more damage or anymore injures. My mom and I just sat there looking at each other trying to determine what just happened. My mom turned to me asking “Are you ok?” I nodded my head still in shock from what had happened. My mom quickly reached forward to call my grandma to have her come pick us up. Then she called the police. …show more content…
My mom got out of the car walking around to access the damage done to the car, and she said “I don't think I can drive out of the ditch.” “Do I need to call a tow truck?” the sheriff said. “I think so because there is no way I can drive out of the ditch the mud would just pull it down further,” my mom replied. The sheriff walked over to his car and called a tow truck to come pull us out of the ditch and bring the car to a local gas
The racecar was not the most creative or what some would call beautifully designed. But the owner and his father worked for weeks on that little wooden block to turn it into something the ten-year-old boy could be proud to race. A previous race showed what needed to be done for a car to make it in the top five. After careful designing, sanding, painting, and graphite the car was finished.
We come to the top of a hill, and I see a car that looks like it's swerving a little. I slow slightly and stay in the right lane. As we approach, the car drifts into my lane! I swear loudly and jerk the wheel to the side, causing the truck to crash into the ditch.
It all started on a blazing hot Arkansas day in mid July. This day in particular was my little sister’s birthday, we were celebrating at the lake with snow cones, jet ski's, and anything else you could imagine for a bright as a button 8 year old girl. The party was going all sound and smoothly until my grandparents pulled up and what happened next I would have never expected especially not from my own grandma and grandpa . When their car doors seemed to slowly open and I heard a high pitched yelp as though it came straight out of a miniature dogs mouth, I automatically knew what was going to hop out beside my grandparents, a teacup puppy. Believe it or not I was of course right, my family, specifically my little sister had gained a new dog ,and wanna know whose job it was to teach her how to
“In the front seat was Gregg, driving, Sarah, in the middle, and Robyn, on the passenger side. In the rear seat was Jeff, behind the driver, Haley, in the middle, and Rachel, on the passenger side. EVERYONE was wearing their SEAT BELTS, as is our family habit. EVERYONE walked away from this accident with only bruises. The only blood was Robyn had small nicks from glass in a couple of places on her right arm and right leg.
“ You pasted a stop sign, then a stop light, and almost caused a car crash,” he said “ can you please step out of the vehicle.”
At this point we could tell there was still occupents inside of the vehicle. At this point we put on the the hazards and get to the vehicle as soon as possible. Hixson, Creager and myself exitted Negrons car and made our way to the totaled vehicle to check the statues of the occupants and find a way to get them out as safely and as fast possible. Hixson dirrected to the passanger side of the vehicle and started trying asking if the older gentlement was okay, while trying to find a way in. Creager and myself dirrected to the driver side of the vehicle. Creager started working on the door trying to open it up while myself started tending to the driver of the vehicle. I started to ask him simple question to test his situational awarness of the accident and to see where he could be injuried and if
The day started off like any average day, I took a hot shower, got dressed and got prepared for the day. It wasn’t until I sat down and started eating my bowl full of cheerios with extra sugar, that I realized what was actually happening. Today would be the day I finally bought my first car, after a year of hard work and conservative economic decisions.
A woman standing in the grass, pointing up the street, she said, “There’s the patrol car now.” Parking in the driveway, the officers asked about any injuries before he wanted to know the details of the accident. When the truck driver explained what happened, the officer went to his car, returned with a pad, and issued a citation. Another officer checked the truck and determined he could drive it.
While no one was technically injured or wounded, this incident tore through many of people’s cars, causing irreversible damage to both the cars and the payload. Inevitably, many factors were at a play in this error.
A precautious individual, I began to pedal at a slightly increased rate. Still I didn't feel as though I was in any real danger, until the car flew past me, grazing my arm. An excessant shriek erupted from the car as it grinded to a halt at the coming stop sign. Then, to my greatest horror the white lights on the rear of the car ignited......the car was going in reverse.
Title Could you imagine living ten miles out of town and not having a vehicle. So to get anywhere you have to work and build around other people's schedule. That is why I am very thankful for the vehicle I have today. A vehicle is more important and more reliable than most people give it credit for. Especially around a small town, you cannot get anywhere without a vehicle.
“Boom!” A large truck coming head on towards my mom’s car, crashing hard enough to penetrate through six other cars. Is my sister alive? Where did the car go? What’s going to happen?
Seeing all the new car models that are available for 2017, I ‘m starting to have new car envy. There are self-parking cars that even alert the driver of dangers on the road. The ability to starting and heating the car with a push of a button, would be great on a cold day. Comfortable seats and a powerful energy saving engine could make any trip a wonderful experience. But I still think my first car, a 1969 Volkswagen Bug, is the best car I ever owned.
Many people have a place that is special to them. Maybe it is the place where they meet with friends, the place where they feel safe, or the place where they fell in love. I have yet to find this place, so right now, what is special to me, is the thing that will get me there: my car. I drive a 2013 Dodge Dart. It is much nicer than my last car.
Finally it passed through the other side followed by an eerie screeching sound. The dreadful sound was emanating from the dry rotted tires that were rubbing against the rails. After the car emerged from the exit of the car wash, it was then wiped dry by the co-workers of the car wash. Watching the employee’s wipe the car I could hear the boy my age say, “I feel bad for who ever owns that car”. The car was fully washed and ready to go as one of the staff members approached the benched and asked which one of us the owner of the vehicle. Again the muttered another comment, “sure isn’t mine”. The comment from the boy made me hesitant, but for a moment I realized the only person I was fooling was myself. So I picked myself up and as I was about to leave, the man in his mid forties stated to me “it could have been worse, my first car barely ran”. With that comment I was a little more encouraged to get into the car and leave with some dignity.
