When working in nursing there is constantly a range of skills and knowledge throughout staff. With authoritarian leadership comes strict obedience, control and a possible result of presenteeism (Geyan et al., 2022). Therefore, causing a limit to the subordinate autonomy which, is one of the five ethical principles we as a nurse must adhere to and uphold for our patients but limit when it comes to ourselves.
