What is Canada doing to to help Attawapiskat education?
How can Shannen Koostachin’s dream help change the situation in Attawapiskat?

The target audience is the people of Canada and also the Government.

The filmmaker wants people the remember Shannon’s dream and also the difference between the education that most people have in Canada compared to the education in Attawapiskat. The filmmaker also wanted the viewers to remember the everyday struggles of the people of Attawapiskat, having to walk very far and sometimes live away from their families just to go to school.

Impact
I learned that people of any age can make a difference or make an impact, also how it is unfair for the First Nations people to have improper education.

The main interviews and narrations were from were mostly projected by the people of Attawapiskat. This is credibly because this documentary was based off of their story and their education. So it is basically their point of view or their experience.

Techniques
Interviews- This technique really let the people of Attawapiskat voice their opinion and how they felt/feel so the viewer can really get a grasp on the message or a good idea of what is going on.
Example: when Serena was explaining how her and Shannon had to leave their parents just to go to a proper school with proper education. Meaning that it was very difficult for them to just to go to school, while other kids outside of Attawapiskat can go to school without these problems.

Re-enactment- In the film it showed an re-enactment of how the kids go to school in Attawapiskat. This shows the people of how difficult or the struggles these kids have just to go to school. Also it demonstrates the difference in levels of teaching between the schools outside of
