“Is a College education worth it?” Argumentative Essay
“Is a college education worth it?” Some say it depends on what field of study or job you are going for. Some people just say college isn’t worth it. But college has been proven to give people a more stable life financially. Asking “Is a college education worth it” is like asking if breathing is important. According to the article, “Experts disagree whether earning a college degree is worth the expense”, The senior vice president of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, Mary C. Daly, implied that “There is an overwhelming evidence that a bachelor’s degree gives people a financial leg up.” This meaning that you are less likely to suffer financially with a bachelor’s degree. However, she also implied that “The advantages of a college education take longer to achieve if costs and debt are large.” Cost is something that usually comes in to play when applying to college and usually is why people just don’t go at all. “Man masters nature not by force but by understanding. This is why science has succeeded where magic failed: because it has looked for no spell to cast over nature”. From the beginning of time man and nature has been in conflict with one another because, as a whole, there is no cooperating. Each one tirelessly wants its way. The Man is fighting for dominance and nature w never yielding its authority. In American Literature, many authors illustrate this theme in their writing. Specifically the writers Jack London in The Law Of Life, Stephen Crane The Open Boat and Mark Twain’s Huckleberry Fin. Each explores the relationship between humans and nature but with slightly different methods. Mark Twain uses nature in a realistic way, Jack London in a naturalistic way and Stephen Crane constitutes a combination of both.
Every day, more and more attempts of banning books and taking away the rights of our First Amendment get violated. The challenging of a book is the attempt to remove or restrict materials, and the banning is the removal of these materials. I believe that books should not be banned for these reasons.
Sometimes students question themselves if college is really worth it? That question has many answers that only a student can answer and decide for him or herself. For some students college can have a positive, life-long outcome. However, there are many obstacles when it comes to college. A student has to be very dedicated in school, and they have to know how to manage their personal life, school and work. College seems like it has more negative effects than it does positive for some people. For the following reasons college is not worth the cost because it is very difficult to find jobs after graduating or they find a job that is not in their field, some students who are not academically prepared wind up dropping out of school and wasting their money and some students struggle to balance school life, personal life and work life. As a result these students end up dropping out of school.
Attending college is worth it. Students who get a college education and graduate have many more life changing opportunities than those who don 't; the debates of studying after high school has been ongoing for many years but statistics have proven that majority to all students who go to college achieve more life goals than the average high school graduate. They get more work benefits, life skills, higher paying salaries, etc. There is a downside to everything in life such as debt is to college education. However, the price students pay is so small compared to what the benefits they receive after graduating from college.
Nowadays people passion about becoming successful in life. Everybody wants to have a lot of money, because money makes our lives easier. To get a lot of money, we have to have a well-paid job. To get a good job without a college education is hard, but some people still earn a lot of money without it. So, is going to college worth your time and money now, for your life tomorrow? As a part of my investigation of this question, I read two texts: the interview of J. Stephens from the New York Times by Holly Epstein Ojalvo called “Why Go to College At All?” and the article “Is College Worth It?” from New York Times by David Leonhardt.
People used to say that a college degree is the gateway to success, but with the rising costs of this education is it still worth it? Some students say yes but the ugly truth is the cost of college is increasing rapidly leading to more and more debt, and this including many other things is the reason people ask is college worth it. Another important question to ask is how one would go answering that question, because it is a hard question to answer it is still a subject of debate. While everyone's answer to that question may be different there is one undeniable truth that there are both pro's and con's of going to college.
What makes a good person good? According to WikiHow, "We should learn to define our own morals ourselves. One of the simplest ways to do so is to love others, and treat them as you would like to be treated. Try to think of others before yourself. Even doing small things daily will greatly enrich and improve your life, and the lives of others around you." This quote shows us what we need to do in order to be what society thinks as, “good". In order to be a good person, you have to do good and moral things in your society consistently. However people might think that by doing one good thing once in a while will automatically make you a “good person”, but in reality it doesn’t.

...all of the sides to whether college is worth the cost, it is evident that college is in fact worth the cost of tuition. College should be looked at as an investment. A college education will give the graduate more money in the end, than they invested. Even though there are temptations in college, the advantages that college gives their students far surpasses the amount of temptations there are along the way. Most college graduates graduate, and earn a degree by surpassing the temptations college gives, and instead taking in all of the advantages that it is able to offer. Even though college, becomes a redundant seven letter word, that people often get tired of hearing, college is the right step in life, for students after high school. A college education is a valuable investment that everyone should strive to achieve, and is completely worth the expensive cost.
Is College still worth it? The expenses of college outweigh the benefits college offers after graduating with a degree. There should be better or more efficient methods of solving this major problem. “Student debt has surged to 1.3 trillion, and millions of Americans have fallen behind on student-loan payments.”

College education is worth the cost since one can acquire a high paying job with a degree and pay the tuition off by the estimated age of thirty-four. The salary without a college education versus the salary with an education is a very big difference and will most likely be a life changing decision. Also, college doesn’t have to be expensive if you acquire grants and a scholarship and if you stay instate it will be much cheaper than out-of-state tuition. The difference between the salary you’ll acquire when you have a college degree is much more than a salary with no college degree.
I believe that IndyCar Series races should be held here in the United States. IndyCar believes there can be benefits in racing in foreign countries but not all IndyCar teams and owner are keen on adding more races outside of the United States. Not only that but racing on the oval track is most popular for U.S. fans. IndyCar teams that have sponsors that are US based feel global expansion would damage the exposure of their sponsors. As for television ratings, race broadcast would be in odd hours to be viewed or even rebroadcast after news of the race had been released.
There is nothing like free lunch is the old saying, but in fact, the world of online casinos has such a free lunch - even if it has a limited menu! No deposit casino bonuses are a way to try a new casino or risk-free casino gambling sites and is now a common practice for casinos to issue free chips for new players to encourage them to try the site. It is still possible to cash out your winnings without a deposit bonus, but there are terms and conditions that must be respected each time you play free bonuses. The first thing to note that no deposit bonuses usually have a limit on the amount of money you can cash in, so if you plan to win big, then it is always better to risk a little amount of your own money - from this way you can keep all your winnings.
