It was created in 1886 and over 100 years later has become this successful global brand today that everyone knows about. There are many different factors that can help a company build a successful brand. Like all companies Coca Cola built a quality and core product and found their target market which is the famous Coke for everyone, the Diet Coke for the ladies, then not for the company to be seen as sexist they brought out the Coke Zero for the men. The positioning of a brand is very vital as it can help establish a clear different advantage in the minds of the consumers.
