Chapter 1
The Problem and Its Background Every student feels anger in different ways because of good and bad things, this is seen in personal emotions such as frustration. According to Mills (2005), anger is an automatic response to the pain caused by either physical or emotional. It can occur to people when they do not feel better, threatened and had experienced loss. There is a social judgment that anger creates real consequences to the angry person. The angry person may show aggressive action or reaction towards and anything or anyone. There is no more problematic human emotion than anger. Now a day, it is normal to hear continuous advices regarding on the proper management and handling of anger. If correction is not made there is a huge chance for the person to commit the same behavior over and over again. People around needs to correct the student who is angry for what they have done wrong. The student who is angry, needs someone to listen to their problems and people who can give full support and good relationship to his/her friends. The purpose of managing the anger is to reduce the emotional feeling of the people and to prevent conflicts that might arise. There are some tips to prevent problems on anger, there are many suggestions on how to manage the anger that students feel. Most of the people do not think of what they say when they get angry, so in order to prevent hurting people they need to think before speaking (Young, 2017). When the person do that do that they can relax their body and can think more clearly. Pretend that you did not hear or you do not know anything just own it because if you do that, your anger will not explode and there will be no …show more content…

Scope and
Help students increase their perception of control over their environment by showing them how to better manage their own stress levels. Instead of telling students to act differently, take the time to teach them how to act differently. By introducing conflict resolution skills, teaching anger and frustration management, helping student set goals, role-modeling, teaching and exemplifying social skills, as a teacher I can have a huge impact on these children and could help buffer the effects of their habitus, cultural capital, SES, and step in to help stop the cultural reproduction of social inequality in my classroom. Ultimately, I want my students to benefit from the hidden curriculum in my classroom, and I would work hard to ensure that the unwritten, unofficial, and often-unintended lessons, values, and perspectives I expose my children to are beneficial and positive in shaping their
This paper will examine Robert C. Solomon's Emotions and Choices article, to best identify what anger is, and to what extent a rational human being is responsible for their anger. Firstly, Solomon's argument must be described. A quick summation of Solomon's argument can be found in the following four points: Emotions are judgements, emotions are chosen, emotions serve a purpose, and emotions are rational.1 To quote Solomon, he explains that “Emotions are not occurrences, and do not happen to us. They ... may be chosen like an action.”2
Anger is something that everyone has. It is a natural response to threats and it can sometimes be necessary to survive. However, when handled improperly, anger can be a very destructive emotion. Letting anger take control of a person can make them very violent, aggressive, and unreasonable
emphasized a lack of restraint. Popular psychology identified “the positive aspects of anger” and encouraged couples to communicate their desires to one another.
Some methods may be similar to others, and some methods may be completely unorthodox. One might use the ten-count method as I had mentioned earlier in coping with anger. This allows the individual to take a breath and re-evaluate the situation at a slower and more understanding rate. Exercise is also a great method in coping with anger. It allows the person to take out their frustrations through vigorous activity. This method harms no one and keeps the body fit. Talking out the problem with someone can also relieve some of the confusion and anger. This can give the individual a better understanding of the problem and maybe allow them to fix the dilemma. Each and every one of these methods can help cope with anger by allowing the individual to think using their mammalian part of the brain, rather than simply responding with instinctive
Seneca who was a Roman philosopher between 4 B.C and 65 B.C has given his opinion about anger in his essay 'On Anger '. This essay will illustrate his views on anger by looking at his definition on anger, the discordances of anger with nature, the decision and causes to start anger, his argument on anger and the remedies of it.
If anger were a disease, there would be an epidemic in this country. Road Rage, spousal and child abuse, and a lack of civility are just a few examples. Emotionally mature people know how to control their thoughts and behaviors how to resolve conflict. Conflict is an inevitable art of school and work, but it can be resolved in a positive way.

...e person feel better at a certain point. The amount of anger a person feels at this stage is inexorable. Doctors, nurses, closed ones and every other person; are victimized by the person’s anger whether or not they are at fault. Even the law of nature is faulty of completing its course. Kubler-Ross and Kessler defined anger as being an anchor and “giving temporary structure to the nothingness of loss.” Anger is meaningful in the light of darkness. Anger encompasses feelings such as love, regret, guilt and hope.
According to Seneca, anger is a bad thing that can destroy the universe, and he argued that one had to be reasonable and get rid of anger in order to achieve a state of mind not subject to emotions (Kim 2). To Rene Descartes anger is the most dangerous emotion, and it is more violent than other emotions(55).

Anger must first be taught and understood to the fullest by the child before proceeding to the next process. The Oxford Dictionaries states that anger is a strong feeling of annoyance, displeasure or hostility. In other words becoming anger means that someone or something such as an event caused irritation, disapproval or unfriendliness. Anger is a natural emotion (Nordqvist). Since its natural it’s a given that everyone has it but does that mean anger is the same for everyone. Children lash out on the small things like not getting cookies or cutting in line. Proper techniques can teach children how to control their anger and not lash out. Anger ranges from mild irritation to rage (What is Anger) knowing this parents and teachers are safe when it mild because it can easily be control but are they willing to take a risk with surround students or kids when its rage. Personally the author wouldn’t take that risk. The surrounding children should be blamed or at fault when a child acts out. Every person has pet peeves so this obviously means that something can tick them off. Some people just have a better handle of their emotions compared to others. Just because something irritates a person doesn’t mean that it irritates the next person. Technically speaking adults have lived longer than many children but just because their older in age doesn't mean they are wise in knowledge. A parent can beat lessons or skills into a child but if the parent doesn't follow their own advice how can a child do so.
The job of a teacher is never easy but we have seen how cooperative discipline and enabling students to feel capable, connected and contributing can improve classroom management and maybe even our own moods. If we create an environment of mutual respect and give our students legitimate power of voice and choice in the classroom we will see positive results in improved student behavior and student achievement. Because when our students believe that they can succeed, they will.
As discussed throughout this paper we build our classroom management plans based on our past experiences, our knowledge, our professional learning and our very own personal reflection. The importance of our beliefs, values and our philosophy play a major role in our planning. I, personally have a strong desire to support students who are often labelled ‘troubled’ and ‘the naughty child’, I believe there are reasons behind why students misbehave and strive to do my best as an educator to engage students through positive reinforcements as discussed and continue to put in place preventive practices. Building our own positive learning framework is key to a successful classroom. Even throughout our ongoing experiences we may adapt to other methods, theories and even values according to our journey as a teacher. Even as teachers we will always be learning and continue to perfect our individual
Anger changes the behavior pattern of the person as a result of changes in his emotional status. it is accompanied by physiological and biological changes. Actions resulting from anger often lead to undesirable physiological and health consequences, because the neuro-transmitters/hormones (eg. adrenaline) released during anger intensify impulsive action and obscure rational
