Starbucks Advertisement The Starbucks advertisement, advertised the Starbucks Frappuccino. This ad shows a picture of a coffee press and a Starbucks Frappuccino. On the top left of the ad is the text “Leave your coffee press at home,” and below that it says, “Take the original to work! It’s the perfect pick-me-up.” Then, on the bottom right of the ad is a text describing simple and easy it is to get one wherever you are and at any time. The thesis statement for this is: Consume our product because we are at every block you turn to. The intended audience for this advertisement is anyone who makes coffee at home. The image of the coffee press is faded and small compared to the Frappuccino. This shows that the creator wanted to emphasize more on the Frappuccino and along with the text written, they want to show how convenient it is for coffee consumers to grab Starbucks whenever. They also described that taste of what you will expect when you buy their product. “The sweet, creamy, low-fat blend of Starbucks coffee and milk in every bottle.” They used this description because they want their product to taste better than the coffee being made at home. During my environmental scan in which took place at the Starbucks on the corner of Fair and Newport across the street from vanguard, I noticed many things in which where never brought to my attention in prior stays and visits at Starbucks; such as the many social groups in which choose to have their meetings at Starbucks. Also, it is a faulty analogy because it contains an unrealistic statement which is to feel Monday as Friday if the customer buys a drink from Starbucks.
