My Name is Khan is a movie that left a mark on my mind. The movie was mainly about the life of Rizvan Khan as an Islam and how he was able to say the line “My name is Khan and I’m not a terrorist.” Rizvan Khan was a highly intellectual who knows how to be rational and critical despite the fact that he can’t communicate well with people because of his Asperger’s Syndrome. His mother, Rizia Khan, developed his personality with understandings and right values that were instilled in his young mind. Infact, she has this assertion which states that there were only two kinds of people in the world, the good people who do good deeds and bad people who do bad things. The statement clearly talks about the belief of a person that can be apply to any religion in the world. Doing whether good or bad deed has nothing to do with religion, it is an individual’s choice. When his mother passed away, Rizvan tried his luck in United States of America and stayed with his younger brother to satisfy the hope of his mother which was to find his happiness.
