EXECUTIVE SUMMARY An individual who may be seeking employment with any three of Johnson & Johnson’s segments of operation may find a promising career. There are diverse opportunities with Johnson & Johnson Corporation related to the medical field and incentives to further education and environmental contribution aside from a career. Johnson & Johnson Corporation was founded in 1886 as a medical device company which later grew into a multinational medical device and pharmaceutical company. The headquarters are located in New Brunswick, New Jersey and the consumer division is located in Skillman, New Jersey. Johnson & Johnson Corporation includes about 250 subsidiary companies with operations in over 57 countries and products sold in over 175 countries. My conclusion that a person may find a promising career at Johnson & Johnson Corporation is based on data supplied by a survey conducted by career reviews, employment statistical data of Johnsons & Johnson, and pharmaceutical annual reports. Analysis of the data revealed benefits in four areas: • Revenues. According to Johnson & Johnson 2013 Full-Year Sales, they had worldwide sales of $71.3 billion. • Employment. Johnson & Johnson was awarded Work-Life Deal of Distinction in 2012 by the WorldatWork’s Alliance for Work-Life Progress, which recognizes top employees working in organizations that exemplify leadership in work-life operating companies effectiveness. They have approximately 128, 700 employees working in more than 275 operating companies. • Products. Johnson & Johnson has three-sectors; medical devices, pharmaceutical and consumer packaged goods. • Fortune 500 Ranking. Johnson & Johnson is a “Go Green” corporation. Johnson & Johnson currently employs about 128,700 employees with a diverse culture environment. The average salary is $88,200; the majority of their employees compose the Professional/Technical department. 3. Their acquisition of other pharmaceutical companies and advancements in their diagnostics placed Johnson & Johnson in the running of increasing their revenues and consumer sales greatly by 2016. On the basis of these findings, I recommend that Johnson & Johnson is a considerable place for employment for someone who is seeking to be part of a pharmaceutical organization
