Advertising, we see it mainly as a way to capture the public’s attention towards a product or business through various forms of media but it is also seen in other angles such as:

The way the AIDA principle can be put to effect is if we try to understand how it works in advertising:
• Attention/Awareness- the Company has the task of making customers aware of the existence of its products or services.
• Interest- the Company has to make sure the customers are intrigued with what the product or service can do for them.
• Desire- the Company has to influence the customers to want to try the products or services.
• Action- When the customers are fully invested and they acquire more information or purchase the product/service.

The questionnaire will cover what advertisements the learners of Kingfisher will prefer to see. Once this data has been collected. I can choose at least three of the favoured advertisements to promote one of the many school functions. There are many ways to advertise to the school; however I have chosen only use five:

Whether recognized or not, advertisements play a significant role on the way in which consumers make choices. Though society as a whole may not recognize the impact of advertising, commercials and good billboards are still noticed and enjoyed. Even colors are used a way in which to catch the eye of the consumer.
A concept that surfaced in the early 1920’s, advertising is a tactic that has been used to influence and persuade the people to participate in consumerism. Advertising in the 1950’s was mainly displayed by the use of the television, newspapers, billboards, and the radio. At the turn of the twenty-first century, advertisers began to rely more on the Internet and technology to share and provide information based on their products. Many relied on the usage of electronic billboards, sporting events, and even video
Advertising Paper Advertising is an effective and important tool for companies to bring awareness to their product. According to the Advertising Education Foundation, on average, a normal person is flooded with over 3,000 advertising messages a day (Boykin, n.d.). Advertising can be defined in multiple ways, one being that its main purpose is to solve problems without entertaining or potentially inspiring its audience. In some instances this definition may be appropriate; however, overall, I disagree with this. Advertising is used to creatively persuade its consumers by using rhetorical strategies such as pathos, logos, and ethos.

In addition, effective advertising can keep a consumer’s mind fresh about the image of a brand, which develops the trace of the memory where consumers have to choose between two or more products. Advertisements are pieces of art or literary work that are meant to make the viewer or reader associate to the activity or product represented on the advertisement. According to Kurtz and Dave (2010), in so doing, they aim at either increasing the demand of the product, to inform the consumer of the existence, or to differentiate that product from other existing one in the market. Therefore, the advertiser’s aim should at all times try as much as possible to stay relevant and to the point.
